My wife and I had adopted from a different rescue back in 2005, and found Hubbards Hounds on the Internet in the summer of 2008, not long after its founding. We filled out an application for two more dogs, and had a great experience dealing with Kim and Sue. Communication and paperwork was so much better than our first experience with the now defunct rescue we originally dealt with.

My wife and I also have supported this organization in other ways, and just started serving as a foster home for rescued dogs. Hubbards is great at organizing transportation and vet visits, and communicating with all of their foster homes on a regular basis.

I have followed Hubbard's Hounds on FB since my friend told me about this wonderful organization. From there my friend and I try to volunteer whenever we are able. Kim and Sue Hubbard are full of love, dedication and seem to be tireless in their quest to save every dog they possibly can even if it means going to another state. The reach out to their large network and secure transportion for the furry friends in need and even if their homes are overflowing with other rescues, they find room for one more. I've recently adopted a puppy from them and couldn't be happier. They make it so easy but not so easy that anybody can just call up and adopt as they also check references which reassures me that they are looking out for the best interest of their rescues. They are without a doubt the best!

We had recently lost or beloved Comet to a car accident and the other 2 members of our pack (and us) were a little lost....I saw an add on Hubbards Hounds while browsing for rescue boxers and sent in an application. We heard back almost immediately from Kim asking if we wanted to meet Echo (now Faline). We met, the dogs met and love was mutual. They did all the vetting she needed and being an older dog from a puppy mill it was considerable..what we DID not plan on was Falines reaction to our cats...NOT GOOD...I called Kim, heartbroken as I was sure we would have to give her back, something we have never done. She was at our house in minutes, gave Faline a stern "talking to" and gave me some tips..2 years later Queen Faline is loved by all including the kitties. The time and love invested by Hubbards Hounds is amazing and their work with puppy mil dogs is nothing less than incredible!!! Thank You seems inadequate, but ...THANK YOU!!!!!!

We lost our large rescue dog almost a year ago. A couple months later we began to look for another rescue dog, as our home just didn't feel complete any more without a canine companion. As luck would have it, we found Hubbards Hounds and our wonderful baby boy, Chopper! Both have been enriching our lives ever since. We have attended several events to visit Hubbards Hounds and all of their great and friendly volunteers. We have recently taken a foster into our home so that we could give something back to Hubbards and help a dog in need at the same time. I can't possibly say enough good things about Hubbards Hounds or thank them enough for all that they have brought to our lives!!

We adopted Ryan and his brother Warney from Hubbards Hounds when they were just 8 weeks old. Ryan is now 2 years old. Sadly we lost our Warney when he was just 8 months old. We went to meet them at their foster mom Kim's house when they were only a couple weeks old. We were very impressed with the love and care we saw with all the dogs Kim was fostering. We couldn't wait to go back and get our boys. The day we picked them up Kim even gave them a bath right before we arrived. The boys were very close. They even shared a crate. When Warner died not only were my husband and I devastated, but Ryan also lost his best best friend and brother. I got in touch with HH to ask if by chance they had a young dog that would be a good match for Ryan. Sue said she had just the dog. Cesar was 4 months younger than Ryan. He was an owner turn in. Tammy was his foster mom. She drove him to Sue's so we didn't have to go so far to meet him. He was very attached to Tammy. We fell in love with him as soon as we met him and he went home with us that day. It took about 20 minutes for Ryan and Cesar to become brothers. They are very close and love each other. They have two 9 year old furry siblings that we adopted when they were babies from someone else. The people that run and foster for Hubbards Hounds are very dedicated to rescuing dogs and turning their lives around. Many of the dogs have never known love until they are with HH. I always recommend them to anyone I know that is looking for a furry family member (unless I don't think they would be truly dedicated to adopting a forever family member!) I thank HH every day for saving my boys and allowing us to adopt them.

When Triscuit was still named Zane and had baby sisters to romp with, he was so well cared for by Hubbard's Hounds. They are very loving and concerned for all their rescues and go way above and beyond to care for them. I was and still am very impressed with their commitment to keeping dogs safe from neglect, abuse and an early grave.

I adopted my pit mix Duncan from HH's in the spring of 2010. They made the adotion so easy. The foster parents even drove half way to meet us when we picked him up. They now sell a beautiful colored calender and you can submit your pup's picture to be in it.

We had to put our two dogs down on the same day in 2008. We were absolutely devastated. My husband found the site for Hubbard's Hounds and within 3 weeks time we adopted a puppy from them. They couldn't have been any nicer and the process couldn't have been any easier. I have recommended them and will continue to recommend them to all who ask about rescues.

In the spring of 2010 I was completely devastated when my seven year old cocker spaniel passed away due to a difficult cancer battle. It was about a month prior to her death that I had stumbled upon Hubbard's Hounds website and began to eye a cute, happy looking little golden puppy. After her passing, it was quite apparent our home was not complete. We decided to adopt and the process began. It took only a week for the entire application through adoption process to occur! We brought Oakley(Eshan) home on a Friday afternoon and from the moment he was in our arms it has been endless love for the furry guy. Currently, Oakley is about a year and a half old and is the happiest and most comical dog anyone could ask for. It truly amazes me how the ladies(and gentleman) of Hubbard's Hounds are so dedicated and willing to work with those seeking to adopt. Oakley's foster mom was(and still is) always willing to answer questions or concerns that we may have. Without a single hesitation I have recommended the organization to others and will continue to do so! Thank you to Hubbard's Hounds for the dedication, support and endless love you have for each dog and those interested in adopting!

I adopted twice from Hubbard's Hounds, they are an amazing advocate group for large misunderstood breeds, as well as forever home finders for the smaller breeds too. These people are completely dedicated and hard working, if I was a lost soul trapped in a dog's body I would pray to be found by them.
