Hosh is such an amazing place that brings our community together. Offering affordable yoga for anyone who wants to practice is a great way to spread the benefits of a yoga practice. Any day I want to practice yoga, there are classes I can fit into my schedule. It has really helped me stay with my yoga practice despite being laid off this past year. The different class choices allows me to grow with my practice. I also never get bored with a teacher because I have many to choose from.

While my roommates friends from England were visiting i took them to a class. They thoroughly enjoyed their American yoga experience!

I also think telling people that I practice at a non profit yoga studio where all the teachers donate their time, and classes are donation based makes people want to check the place out. I think they are less intimidated about coming to Hosh because of it's message and pricing, than other for-profit studios.

I feel good about contributing to Hosh because by donating and practicing there I'm not only doing something beneficial for myself I feel I am also helping out the community and encouraging others to start a healthy practice.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

my body and my mind. Hosh has allowed me to continue my yoga practice by offering classes at all times of the day - every day. I can always find classes to fit into my schedule. Plus, having been on unemployment for the past year I don't have to sacrifice my fitness regiment because of my income status. It is so important to exercise and learn ways to de-stress. Hosh has been an important part of my mental and physical well being through out that tough part of my life as well as today.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

offer more workshops on week nights instead of only on the weekends.
