I can't say enough good things about this amazing studio. From the pay- what- you- wish aspect to the incredibly passionate, supportive and knowledgeable teachers combined with the inviting and warm class setting, this studio is truly a find!
I've practiced at quite a few studios in the past and I immediately knew after my first class experience HOSH was very special. All of the teachers are very well trained and attentive to each student's needs. They emphasize practicing your asana at your own pace according to your own breath. The class schedule is super convenient and constantly expanding. You really can't get any get any better in my opinion.
The Great!

Practicing here has helped me learn proper alignment in each posture. I've learned to be aware of my body and it's limits. Before this studio, my practice consisted of pushing myself too hard and because of that I've incurred injuries. The teachers here have helped me to accept my limits and are working with me to help heal my injuries.

I feel truly blessed to have found this studio. I can't think of anything I would change about it! It's pretty perfect.
This place is really picking up. The modest space mentioned has been getting some simple additions that aid in the meditative and relaxing quality of their practice. Their teachers seem to continue their explorations into yoga and pass along discoveries willingly and gratefully. Instruction is balanced between vigorous, challenging, and quiet poses, pacing, and meditation. I recommend a few sessions as their teacher rotation seems less routine and each has their own perspective complementing a broad experience in yoga.

Ways to make it better...
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
give them a new location, one specifically for their organization, within a working environment of creative spaces with "think global, act local" mindsets.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
taking classes.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
instructors well trained in their medium.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
set up a better space and bring their service to more people (school children, mothers pre and post natal, offices, personalized practices) and offer workshops that expand in the understanding, experience, and practice of mind, body, and spirit.
Ways to make it better...
they had a better environment. They seem to be addressing as best as their location allows.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
location, and full time staff/volunteers to allow for expansion of services.

The teachers at Hosh Yoga are attentive and well trained. They do a great job of balancing rigorous poses and pacing with gentle, even meditative positions. This is definitely a modest space, but the no frills environment make me feel more at ease, personally.

welcoming and genuine. The teachers seem to have an ego-free approach to the practice, so I never feel pressure to show off or push myself further than I'm comfortable with.
