Reviews for Horse Rescue Relief And Retirement Fund Inc
I am a follower of this rescue organization and have donated to them several times. I am continually impressed by their energy, dedication, and massive amounts of compassion for the horses and other animals they rescue. I have seen them organize very large rescue operations on short notice to get horses to safety who are in very grave danger. I 100% support them and think that they--and the horses and other animals that they help on a daily basis--deserve all the support they can get.
They help horses regardless of age, breed, health, 'rideability' or temperament. They invest in the horses as well as the community by teaching people about horses. They save from slaughter, from animal control, from deplorable conditions. They take in all kinds of horses and love, care for and find homes when it is appropriate and keep on their farm when they need to. The dwarf minis are great examples.
Horse Relief & Retirement Fund does so much to help horses (and sometimes other unfortunate animals as well.) I do not know of a group with a bigger heart, not to mention the amount of work they do. They work 24/7 to make sure all animals are properly taken care of and loved. It makes me happy to see these animals gain weight, get medical attention and get the love they need and deserve. I am so glad they exist, so these animals do not have to suffer and can lead a wonderful life. I cannot say enough good things about Horse Rescue & Relief Retirement Fund.
This is a great group of people. The farm promotes a lot of community interaction and is a fun and positive place to volunteer at. One of the things I like about the organization is its willingness to help any animal and other rescue organizations, with many of the volunteers pitching in at any time and with short notice. It's a great mix of helping animals and people.
A most amazing group which blends the work to rescue horses with assisting special needs kids (riding programs) fostor kidz, healthy lifestyle yoga, arts, UGANDA internship opportunities at UGA, ... finding soapy ways to benefit others while helping horses... the best of programs)

I have 3 rescue horses from Horse Rescue and Relief. These people do the most wonderful job with all of the horses. They don't turn away the tough cases and pour their hearts into every horse. As far as I am concerned these are the most dedicted rescue people I know. I wish I could win the lottery and give it to them !!!!!!!
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Give them a million dollars and let them keep doing exactly what they are doing.
