I love Hope Stone - it truly is a Chapel of the Arts! The teachers they bring in are top notch and the atmosphere is so calm, vibrant and up-lifting you can't help have fun. Jane and crew really know how to run a Studio (Chapel) well!!!

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

the enjoyment I've had taking Ballet Class.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

buy it a bigger building - like the soon to be old Houston Ballet Academy.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the fantastic people I've met there - friends for life!

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

of the highest caliber.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

make the Houston Dance World ROCK!!!

Ways to make it better...

there were live music more often but you can't wish for what Houston doesn't have much of.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

growing while keeping the same vibe.

I love Hope Center because it's like a family. Hope Center's staff and visitors bond over a common passion: dance! I loved last year's production of "Village of Waltz." It was incredible - etherial, magical, soothing, thrilling. It was magnificently choreographed and executed. I love dancing with Hope Center so much that I travel from Clear Lake to class on the weekends! Thanks for doing what you do!

The warm, inviting atmosphere, the talented and patient teachers, then great kids programs, and amazing resident dance compnay...this is one of the best organizations in Houston HANDS DOWN.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

pay dancers a living wage, tour the shows, expand the kids programs, expand the breast cancer awareness programs, get a larger studio, or build a new facility.

This program is heart-felt, and world-class, bridging art and community ! Jane's passion and persuasion has changed the life of many youth; if anyone doubts the influence and meaning of art in daily life, visit Hope Stone!

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Implement a national program !! Jane should go the White House and get the NEA involved on some more initiatives of the nature of Hope Stone !!

Hope Stone is a great organization with skilled teachers and mentors providing arts education to "at-risk" children. It is a safe place where kids can come to learn, and explore their creative abilities giving them a wonderful outlet for expressing themselves.

The freshest place in Houston for dance, for kids, for movement, for theater, for ART! Excellence in all they do, and they hug you as well. Jane Weiner and the Hope Stone Dance Company are brillant each time they take the stage. The Kid's Play program is outstanding and supports at-risk kids as well.

Hope Stone is making difference in childrens' lives (and those who are part their lives and to those that give to Hope Stone as well)...giving them purpose, self-esteem, confidence, safe-haven and...lest we forget, ART! These are invaluable to young people whose lives are often fragile and complicated. Making a positive difference in their lives makes a positive difference in the community. Amen to that.
