Programs: Hope Stone’s mission is to unlock the innate creativity of young people and adults through our arts outreach programs with a vision of art for all. We are an organization dedicated to nurturing the creative side of children and adults through the positive, empowering experience of the arts. At Hope Stone we believe in Mindfulness Arts Education and are dedicated to this concept in all aspects of our work in the community. Founded in 1997 by its current President & CEO, Jane Weiner, Hope Stone conveys the intrinsic value of the arts through education programs tailored to suit the needs of specific populations of children and adults. Our children’s program (Hope Stone Kids) reaches out to students in a variety of school settings, using highly skilled artists from the artistic disciplines of music, dance, and theater. Hope Stone’s professional dance company (Hope Stone Dance) stages compelling and accessible new works that challenge, entertain, and educate audiences. Recently, Hope Stone has successfully adapted the time-tested methods used in its youth programming to create an arts outreach program for special populations (The Hope Project).

My partner and I chose Hope Stone as our beneficiary as we launched our business this year and we are so happy with this decision. Jane made an effort to come out to our launch event and speak on #artforall, invited us after to see the choreography she had been working on and is currently collaborating with us on community outreach programs that we can get involved in. Working with Hope Stone as our beneficiary is about more than donating money, it's about making a real difference and Jane is a pleasure to work with. She is truly inspiring and passionate about what she does.

I have found Hope Stone, Inc., to be the most careing, encouraging, creative and exhilerating organization for children through adults in dance, yogo, music and appreciating the arts in general ,of any other non-profit of its type.
The professional staff gives personal, hands on, teaching to each participant in every program. The afterschool programs for "children at risk" teaches them responsibility along with the arts: dancing, drums, theater and exercise. Each year this group is provided the opportunity to see live theater, free! Many times it's their only experience visiting a theater, seeing a live performance and then talking about it's impact on them after.
Please recognize this Outstanding Organization.

I love Hope Center because it's like a family. Hope Center's staff and visitors bond over a common passion: dance! I loved last year's production of "Village of Waltz." It was incredible - etherial, magical, soothing, thrilling. It was magnificently choreographed and executed. I love dancing with Hope Center so much that I travel from Clear Lake to class on the weekends! Thanks for doing what you do!

Hope Stone is a great organization with skilled teachers and mentors providing arts education to "at-risk" children. It is a safe place where kids can come to learn, and explore their creative abilities giving them a wonderful outlet for expressing themselves.
