Our children’s program (Hope Stone Kids) reaches out to students in a variety of school settings, using highly skilled artists from the artistic disciplines of music, dance, and theater. Hope Stone’s professional dance company (Hope Stone Dance) stages compelling and accessible new works that challenge, entertain, and educate audiences. Recently, Hope Stone has successfully adapted the time-tested methods used in its youth programming to create an arts outreach program for special populations (The Hope Project).

Reviews for Hope Stone, Inc

Rating: 5 stars

This great organization, as the name implies, signifies HOPE; bringing a different perspective, style and meaning to nonprofits. Being an artist/creative, I have been able to see the harm neglecting our artistic sides can cause on personal growth. Hope Stone strives to bring out the creative geniuses in each an everyone with a vision of ARTS FOR ALL; meaning that they support a wide and diverse range of individuals. I have had the opportunity to work with this organization and I can truly say that everyone is happy, fun, encouraging and accepting. Nothing but great learning experiences from watching their shows and collaborating with them.

While volunteering my services with Hope Stone I grew to learn more about myself through the experiences of the children with The Branch. They're opportunity to learn music and dance was very beneficial. The minds of these bright youth showed more potential then I as a teaching assistant could hang with. These kids were excelling beyond the general standard showing great retentive skills as well as communal skill. Working with the kids I myself learned how to better communicate even the most basic of things to the brightest of minds, a rock has just as much potential as a star it just needs to be harnessed and refined properly so that it may molded or converted into the next state of energy. We as humans are bundles of potential energy that just need the proper guiding with the reading and counting skills, to be more than successful. Success is a mind state as a wealth of knowledge helps provide a great pool of references for such. These molds we form only break the scale of things just to remold into new models, each of these children taught were bright in their own aspect and just needs a bit of team work and development skills to understand that. We all cater to the needs of each other hence you can never have a community with the innate part of unity!

Hope Stone Inc. is one of the most incredible group of people I've ever met. The mission of "mindful arts education" is not a common one, and their dedication to going above and beyond a typical, cookie-cutter teaching style is apparent. You can see the children's hearts being opened and artistic voices being amplified.

Hope Stone is an amazing organization run by incredibly passionate artists that are committed to making an impact on the lives of others. I have had the opportunity over the last semester to observe the work that they do and have been so inspired by both the talent and kindness that is brought to every class.

Hope Stone is an awesome group of people who care about all the art of the world but their favorite is dance and dance outreach. Jane Weiner is a saint!!! She bonds with everyone she comes in contact with. She is an incredible woman who deserves to be acknowledged.

Hope Stone is a non-profit organization that really cares about teaching art to people in all their walks of life. What I love the most about it is the community involvement. With Hope Stone, you really feel part of a greater family. I love the fact that it provides opportunities to children of all backgrounds and teaches them to appreciate art from early on. Hope Stone is on a mission to better our society through the use of art and creativity.

Hope Stone has a true passion for the arts in the community. It has given the gift and opportunity to children and adults to experience dance and creativity.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Nothing at all. This organization was perfect! The only thing I would add is to have a bigger space for the dance classes.

Hope Stone Inc is such a wonderful non-profit organization. The kids program is just one of the many ways they teach humans about art and how art is beneficial for the soul. Hope stone has taught me to be a better dancer and learn how to love the art in our everyday existence.

I have been a believer and supporter in Hope Stone for many years. My children and I have all enjoyed classes at Hope Stone. Jane Wiener's internal sunlight and incredible enthusiasm for bringing the arts back into childrens' and adults' lives is unmatched. As well as the classes, Hope Stone takes classes to schools that do not provide art in any way. Hope Stone also has an amazing dance company which performs throughout the year. My kids and I LOVE going to their shows because they all have a "Jane flair" that is sure to fill you with joy. Helping Hope Stone in anyway is an honor and gives me pure joy! I will always support Hope Stone.

Hope Stone still has a very special place in my heart. Jane Weiner believed in my artistry and her willingness to offer me a number of opportunities proved to impact my confidence that still positively affects my creative career today. Hope Stone was most definitely my dance home in a number of ways and I know I would still feel the warmth of home if I were to visit even many years later. It was a safe and joyful place I was able to explore parts of myself, my artistry and my talents.

Thank you Hope Stone for your lasting impact!
