Anastasia Keyser, the woman behind Hope For Horses Equine Rescue, Inc., is a terrific person. She has dedicated her life to these wonderful critters... that is, the rescue of horses and dogs. I have spent the past 3+ years helping her organization when time allowed. I have watched them bring horses back from certain death to become beautiful healthy critters. I have watched them spend countless sums of money to save animals that no one... and I mean no other rescue organization including the big guys... would help. Last fall (2009), Hope For Horses rescued about 100 horses and donkeys from people that just could no longer afford to care for their critters due to the recession and other circumstances. The only thing Hope For Horses Equine Rescue, Inc. needs ... is more donations and more volunteers!
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
the rescue of more than 100 horses over the past few years. I have personally watched the organization nurse horses back to health.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
I don't know what more I could do than is already being done.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
watching my efforts, my time, my energy... save critters... right before my own eyes.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
There is a broad number of people that volunteer with this organization... coming from very different and diverse backgrounds. Everyone loves horses and dogs.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
survive for the next 20 years!!
Ways to make it better...
Hope For Horses Equine Rescue, Inc. could not do a better job!! They are terrific!!
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
finding donations and volunteers....
One thing I'd also say is that...
How frequently have you been involved with the organization?
About every month
