I was introduced to HomeAid OC by my wife who has been a volunteer and Board member for many years. Through her involvement, I have had the pleasure of meeting many amazing individuals associated with this wonderful organization. I have also had the opportunity to visit several of the shelters developed by HAOC and volunteer at one of them. It has truly been an honor to peronsally witness the growth of this organization and to see how the community has responded in supporting their efforts. Thanks to HAOC, we have an annual tradition in our family of taking our 2 young children (along with one of their new Christmas presents) to visit a shelter. We are grateful for this opportunity to pass along the spirit of giving to our children. Thank you HAOC for ALL that you do to help shelter those in need!

Following the core concept of HomeAid Orange County’s housing development program to work in partnerships with volunteers, Essentials for Young Lives is a community-wide effort to collect much needed items for homeless infants and toddlers. HomeAid partners with businesses, community organizations and individuals to collect baby products such as: diapers, baby wipes, baby hygiene products. The items are then delivered to HomeAid’s service provider partners’ who provide services to homeless mothers and their children. Volunteer
