Our company had achieved a milestone anniversary last year and wanted to celebrate it by organizing a fund raiser dedicated to our active and returning troops in various ways. We searched high and low to find a couple of honest, hard-working, 100% non-profit, New Jersey charities. We knew we certainly found one when we met Randi Cairns. She is truly a person who simply rolls up her sleeves and does what is needed, when it is needed. She impresed all of us and we are grateful to have found her and joined forces with Home Front Hearts. We wanted to make a difference in the lives of our brave men and women who put so much on the line for us, and we definitely feel we achieved that goal with the help of Home Front Hearts.

Home. Front. Hearts. The name says it all. "Home" means such a different thing to my generation. We are separated from our own extended families by miles, in this age. We find ourselves in crisis, with loved ones deployed or activated, without the support to help us make it in life. I know. My husband has deployed twice to Iraq. I can't even begin to tell you what it means to have a group like Home Front Hearts be your "home", your go to place, that place that you know has other people, like you. HFH understands the "front", too. It's volunteers are or have loved ones in the military. For instance, nobody knows what it's like to be a temporary single parent when your spouse deploys. It's weird. It's not permanent, but it's long, sometimes over a year's time. Of course, then there is a re-adjustment stage. Families begin one state of existence and the military changes their lives...., again. I appreciate having someone who has been on the "front". HFH has a living "heart", also. You will find, among military families, the values and morals that have shaped our dear country. You will find, that if there is a need to be filled, HFR will fill it. I have have witnessed them provide both physical and financial help. In particular, I recall a soldier needing to get get home to a sick family member. Home Front Hearts intervened, making it possible; it was the right thing to do. Of course, they helped. Home Front Hearts makes a positive difference in the lives of our military families. I am grateful for them.

I have know about Home Front Hearts since its inception. I've been involved in several of their clothing/toy drives and attempts to help the families of servicemen deployed. Randi Cairns is one of the most amazing woman I've ever met. Her dedication to this cause is incredible.

Home Front Hearts has help numerous of my soldiers when no other organization could. Because of the strict rules guiding other organizations, Home Front Hearts has the flexability to use all assets to accomplish their mission. The soldiers who require help just need to get over the hump of certain struggles with dignity and privacy, which Home Front Hearts provides.

I am writing to tell you about a wonderful organization called Home Front Hearts! I am a Military Spouse myself, but I came to know Home Front Hearts and it's founder, Randi, through a mutual friend. I have seen and heard about services the organization provides to Military Servicemembers, Veteran's and Family Members. Recently, the organization was looking for a specific item for a Servicemember in need. Home Front Hearts has a wide network for communications, so I heard about this right away - and was able to put the organization in touch with someone that could help the Soldier. It is positive outcomes such as this, that makes Home Front Hearts such a vital important service to the community!

As President of the St. Bartholomew Columbiettes, I have had the opportunity to have the members help The St. Bartholomew Columbiettes are a church oriented organization that provides aid to charitable organizations in the community. We have been providing help for over 11 years and our experience with Home Front Hearts was very rewarding to our members. We felt like we had made a difference in the lives of several military families especially around the holidays.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

that a donation of any amount is appreciated and certainly put to good use. We feel so proud to be able to help those who have put their lives on hold in order to protect us and our country.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

definitely change the lives of so many military families. We need to acknowledge the sacrifices that our military personnel make in order to keep our country safe and secure by helping the families that they leave behind.

My husband and I have worked with this charity for years along with several clubs we belong to. We have been involved with adopting military families in need for Christmas and at other times when the need arises.

Home Front Hearts is an organization dedicated to helping soldiers and there families. The dedication begins with Randi, the founder of the organization. Our family and friends have participated in collecting supplies for children in need to send abroad while her husband was stationed there. Locally we held a Christmas Party where the guests donated gifts and purchased furniture for a military family. I've also participated in a baby shower for a military family in need and expecting a child. Randi is very helpful in finding a way everyone can help, either financially, physically or through a collection of sorts.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

that I truly know that we have helped make the lives of several military families better thanks to our involvement with this organization.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

see their work reaching so many more people. They'd be able to hire a staff which would not only allow them to help more people but it would allow them to have more time to work on fundraising to make that 10 million dollars grow.

I work at a nursery school in NJ and we wanted to do something for a military family during this past holiday season. I checked on my computer to see who we could help. I found Home Front Hearts and it seemed like the perfect choice. It was exactly what we were looking for. I contacted Ronnie Cairns and asked how and what we could do to help one or more of these military families. She responded with several suggestions and we decided to go with purchasing items for a family of her choice. The families connected with our school responded with "open hearts". We were able to purchase toys, bedding, shoes and a computer. We were also able to make two truck payments and one mortgage payment. We were truly honored to do this. It was such a positive experience for all the children who attend our school. They helped gather and sort all the items and pack and ship them off. I must say that everyone connected and involved with this non-profit organization are wonderful, caring people. We hope to do this again this year.

Home Front Hearts is an organization that truly inspires. This nonprofit has such a clear mission to serve the most deserving and underappreciated "members" of our military - the families left at home. I witnessed first hand the dedication of the staff and their "whatever it takes to get the job done" work ethics. I had a front row seat to the beginnings of Home Front Hearts when the Director was herself managing a family left at home while her husband served our country. The fact that this nonprofit could be born during the time of her own personal needs demonstrates the ambition and drive that carries through this entire organization. If you want to help you should reach out to Home Front Hearts and if you need help you should reach out to Home Front Hearts. You won't be disappointed.
