It is hard to fully grasp the need for food until you personally witness a plate of food given and it is literally licked clean. It breaks your heart. I am involved with several locations that their HOPE is to have one meal every other day. Some are very young children (even infants) and others are bedridden and cannot even fend for themselves. To die not of their illness but from malnutrition. In Mark 8 pity was plentiful, but only compassionate action could meet the needs. Jesus’ compassion was part of His passion. It culminated upon Calvary. As in Jesus’ day, the multitude is around us still. There is the multitude of misfortune, disadvantage, outcasts, sinners, and the bewildering multitudes who have nothing to eat. Pity looks and says, “How awful.” Compassion weeps and says, “I’ll help.” Pity looks from afar. COMPASSION rolls up its sleeves and pitches in to help. Pity waits for a convenient time. COMPASSION knows no office hours. Pity is plentiful and cheap. COMPASSION is rare and costly. Jesus looked on the multitudes and said, “I have compassion.” Hilarous Givers HAS COMPASSION and those who support them and enable those such as I to go out and make a world of difference AND let them see how far Christ love reaches. I have had crisis situation after crisis situation and to allow me to empower those that need help I need help from others such as Hilarious Givers who has stepped up and allowed me to start development while providing relief.

Several of the churches I work with are served by Hilarious Givers ministry. They have a heart for the hungry children in these communities and work unbelievably hard at making sure that we have food to distribute to needy families. They are a God Honouring blessing to our ministries here in Baja California.

Volunteer for one of our monthly 'pallet packing parties' to assemble loads of nutrition for worthy feeding programs in the slums and fields of Mexico. Or, your family can be 'missionaries for a day' and actually take food to an orphanage one Saturday! Volunteer
