I'm a Property Manager as well as in the Coast Guard Auxilliary. I came upon your web site when I was looking to help our soldiers overseas in the war and I was absolutely floored to see the hands on work being done and the care boxes that were being sent to each soldier and the expressions on their face when they saw the herobox convinced me that this was the place I wanted to work with to get some goodies to the troops! It was so easy and great to get it done online and also the website shows everyone helping out and the soldiers getting the packages, especially around the holidays really moved me. They also have t-shirts and wrist bands which I also purchased and everytime I wear the shirt it immediately has people coming up and asking me about it and I tell them what a wonderful charity this is. My thanks to you for all your help to our men and women braving it overseas! Sincerely, Laura McCabe

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

viewing their online photos and stories from the troops

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

get more marketing out to more public websites to see what fantastic work they're doing.

More feedback...

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

The feeling that I am directly impacting the lives of our troops overseas!

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

online and on the phone mostly

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

help so many soldiers overseas feel like we love them and always will be there for them when they need by getting them more stuff to ease their burden during war.

Ways to make it better...

I was there to give them out but I can't so that's why I love this charity.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

getting the publicity they need and enough people to donate

One thing I'd also say is that...

I love our men and women who are fighting for our country and will continue to be there for them when they need!

I got to personally be involved with Herobox when my kids lived in Tyrone Ga. they volunteered and when i was visiting I helped out too. The people that run it are fantastic people. I adopted a soldier and we became friends on facebook, we still stay in touch she is now back in Texas at Fort Hood, So now I have a guy soldier, and He is very shy, doesn't share much but, I know he is probably really deserving of my support. Ryan the founder of this org. is a very thoughtful family man who has a beautiful wife and 2 handsome boys, they are a family like anyone else. My husband and I enjoyed knowing them. I live in Texas and cannot go visit, but they have my total support.

I figure if these men and women are doing something I do not have the guts to do, then I can at least send them some comforts from home that they more than deserve! I have had an incredible experience with Herobox. I received my soldier within minutes of registering. I sent a question a few weeks later and was responded to very quickly. I recommend the organization to everyone I know. What a rewarding experience!

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the incredibly rewarding feeling it gives me. I feel like I am doing something to help out the troops.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

non-existent. I've never met anyone.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

make every deserving soldier happy! I wish it did because the soldiers are giving up so much and the least we can do is send them "some stuff" every month!

Ways to make it better...

I would have heard from my soldier faster, but she does not have a computer. It is not Herobox's fault though!

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

getting the word out.

I have done this for four months. It is tremendously rewarding and makes me feel like I am doing something special for someone. When Kyle sends me an e-mail thanking me it's a real feel good feeling. It makes me sad that they are doing so much for our country and other countries and have so little! I think this is a tremendous concept and I aplaud those that started it. The only negative from my standpoint is dealing with the post office!!

I think this is a great organization! i signed up to send packages, and it has been over 6 months and no one has contacted me to start helping our troops. If i could start sending packages to our troops i would rate Herobox 5 stars

Discovered at a local air-show, signed up to sponsor a soldier for 6 months. My daughter got a kick out of shopping for him, and he went to a lot of trouble to acknowledge our support. A very rewarding experience for us, and deserved support for our troops!

HeroBox was the perfect fit for our charity program this year. They delivered on their promise to provide to our troops the items and monetary donations we sent. I would gladly donate to HeroBox in the future.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

The ease of making my doantion. I gathered cash and 160 lbs of items for our troops. The fine people of HeroBox asked that I just send them the items and they would handle the rest. Great Job

I really enjoy preparing and sending a box to "my soldier" every month through HeroBox.org. There is something special about giving to a stranger. I think about my Hero throughout the month and although I don't have family in service to our country, I feel good about supporting our troops in even this small way. It makes me feel more personally connected to the heroes who serve our country and lets THEM know that WE care!

We look forward to sending our box every month. We have even been lucky enough to be able to correspond with our soldier via email. It's nice to know he appreciates the little things we are doing for him while he is sacrificing so much.

I have adopted 4 soldiers through Herobox.org and it has been a very rewarding experience. I have made friends and learned far more about what the war is than I could ever learn on the news. Providing these soldiers with a bit of luxury while they are away from home feels good and gives them something to look forward to!
