Heritage retreats is a labor of love facilitated by a wonderful staff of caring administrators and volunteers. The program connects people from all walks of life through intellectual discussion and spiritual exploration. Though the program is merely a week, the lessons, friendship and memories linger on.

I went on a whim and was extremely surprised. I have never made good friends so easily in my life. I connected with a number of very cool young women. I had never studied Torah before, but the high quality of the program design allowed me to learn more Torah in a short period of time than I could have imagined, yet there was also a good amount of time for fun and socializing. Another great thing about the program- the food was great. I encourage anyone with any interest in Judaism to go.

My experience with the Heritage Retreats was the most rewarding one. Thanks to this society, I lead a Kosher home, raise a child in a very Jewish way and most importantly, lead a Kosher married life with my woderful husband. THANKS Heritage Retreats!

I went to this retreat sort of at the last minuite, and to this day I am glad that I did. Not only were the staff superb in terms of their knowledge, but their interest in each atendee was genuine, and lasted long after the one week we spent together. The tutors were fantastic, as were _all_ the girls on the trip. We bonded, exchanged ideas, learnt about ourselves and each other, and got some of the best Jewish education, some in the classroom, most of it outside the classroom.

Personable, understanding, friendly, very knowledgeable, and genuine.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Set up retreats regionally, creating a southeastern branch, a northeastern branch, a midwestern branch, etc. It would defray the cost for those who have issues with travel expense, and it would make it more accessible since it would be a regional thing.

Heritage Retreats is an experience which can benefit Jews of all levels of religious observence. On my retreat were a few very secular Jews, a number of very religious Jews and - like me - many in the middle. The program is very respectful of everyone's preferences while maintaining the traditions such as shabbat and Kosher. It was a very educational experience which - most importantly - taught me a lot about myself and my short, medium and longer term spiritual goals. What made it easy for me to learn and absorb was that it was put out there for me to digest and not forced down my throat. Lastly (and importantly) it was a fun time playing sports, taking trips, socializing and just having some leisure away from my busy schedule as a lawyer.

This was one of the most memorable and meaningful experiences of my life. Connecting with other Jewish professionals in a posh, comfortable, environment which provided exhilerating physical and intellectual stimulation created a unique experience I will never forget. All supervising Rabbis are excellent and knowledgeable teachers, and the physical activity was extremely enjoyable but never too intense. Even the food was excellent.

I had an amazing experience with Heritage Retreats in Santa Barbara, California. The educators are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. The lectures were terrific and have positively impacted my outlook on life. I am a much happier person now. I try to maximize the value out of every moment of my existence. Thank you very much and I wish you all continued success!
