Harley (pitt bull) showed up at our home one night skinny and dirty, he just wanted some loving, I had just read about HOPE that week in the paper and thru there services we were able to get Harley his shots and fixed. With out them it would of been very costly. He is a great addation to our family, and he is still a lover boy. HOPE's services are great for familys who are strggling to keep there pets. I thank them for all there good work.

We have had numerous stray cats come to us starving. My husband and I took in two, but when the third one came we couldn't keep anymore as we have two inside cats already. HOPE took in the third stray and is attempting to get her a new home. HOPE also helped us with shots and the spay and neutering of the strays. When no one else in the I.E. would help Upland residents HOPE came through.

They are the most devoted, caring group of volunteers. Any financial help given to them goes to see these rejected animals live a full healthy life.

Please help H.O.P.E.

I am so proud to be apart of such a wonderful and amazing group..
HOPE is run by dedicated and loving volunteers and we are all committed to giving these precious homless animals a second chance by finding them forever loving homes that they deserve.

Most of our rescues have been
dumped by people they loved and trusted and we try to make sure that doesn't happen again by doing home visits and making sure the dog or cat is the perfect match for the family/home and some people may not agree to this but we do not take this responsiblity lightly and feel that it is nessesary for the well being of the animals.

We have rescued and placed over 900 dogs and cats over the past twelve years. And we have spayed/neutered over 800 pets for Upland residents free of charge for seven years. We strive to educate people about the importance on spay and neutering their pets and we continually put on fundraisers to help raise money so we can continue to do what we do best. "Saving Homless Animals" in need of forever loving homes...

My name is Camilla, but my people friends call me Cami. I am about 4 years old and came to the animal shelter as a puppy with my mother. She was adopted but it took a long time for me to find my forever family. I would like to thank the people at HOPE for taking care of me until that day finally came!
Hi. I am Cami's new mom. We adopted Cami through the HOPE organization about 3 months ago. We were very impressed with the through adoption process and their concern that Cami was going to a suitable home. She is such a sweet, loving little dog! We are enjoying every day with her & she is a perfect fit for the two of us. Keep up the good work HOPE!

HOPE is a caring organization dedicated to saving animals and placing them in their "forever homes" with adoptive families. It is through HOPE that we adopted our special-needs cat, "Juliette," who suffers from epileptic seizures. I am most pleased to be able to report that it will be two years this coming March 1 since she had her last seizure. Juliette was considered to be an unadoptable cat because of her medical needs, but with HOPE's help and support, she has become the perfect 4-legged "healthy" member of our family.

Our family is complete since we adopted our adorable Cocker Spaniel puppies from H.O.P.E. It was a chance encounter that we met H.O.P.E. and one of the puppies (the other puppy was being cared for after having cherry eye surgery) at an adoption on a Saturday afternoon. A few days later we began the adoption process and were impressed with the thoroughness of the questions on the application. This was followed by an interview and then ultimately an in-home visit where the puppies had an opportunity to meet our loving lab. Throughout the process we were impressed with the thoroughness H.O.P.E. takes to ensure the puppies would be safe and secure in a loving forever home. We are so very happy to have stopped by the adoption that Saturday afternoon, the puppies are an integral part of our family. We highly recommend H.O.P.E.

I have seen the dedication from everyone involved with HOPE! The First and most important thing is Getting the animal a forever home! Also to teach Spay and Neutering is RESPONSIBLE and a MUST! I also seen first hand the amazing help these animal in need received! Hope pulls animals off death row! They help anyway they can! They help children build confidence and strength! In teaching them how to care and love animals! Its just an amazing organization anyone involved with HOPE is Amazing.

I loved my short time working with HOPE! They are a amazing at what they do! I got help from them in saving a cat! She was old skinny and kinda ugly but that didn't stop them from helping her get back to her pretty healthy self! They never once wanted anything in return other than the proper care for the animal! I once again called upon them to get help nurturing a stray I rescued and they came through again! They help sponsor low cost spay and neuter! I am so thankful for people like them! I will never e

I am not sure I would have anything to change. I first thought the adoption time should speed up! From the time you see the animal, meet it, interview, application, home check, etc. Then I relized all that takes time and should be done with caution! They need time so people can be sure and be checked out! You never want to get a animal in the wrong home or get it back so its fine! :)

I have known H.O.P.E. for about 6 years and have been impressed by their dedication and even more importantly, their organization. Every member has a "job" and is dedicated to it, whether it is volunteering on their weekend day at Petsmart or Petco, bringing dogs and cats to an event, or taking care of pets at the shelter. I have always been impressed by how organized they are. Everyone knows what events are happening and every event is always staffed by dedicated members.

What a wonderful organization H.O.P.E. is to countless dogs and cats that have received such good care. I, personally, was blessed with a cat that I adopted from H.O.P.E. This kitty had all his shots and was fit for a permanent home. If not for this organization, many cats and dogs would not be alive, or would be homeless on the streets. Another thing I really value about this organization is that every client has to meet guidelines before being able to adopt a dog or cat. For example, a volunteer from H.O.P.E. is sent to each prospective home to see if it is a safe place for the pet. I like that there is a clause in the adoption papers that say that the cats can be indoor-only, so as to protect them from coyotes, bears, diseases and a number of other things. This shows concern for all these animals, and I'm very glad they are serious about enforcing this rule. The director of this organization, Margaret, has the kindest heart and sensitivity for these dogs and cats, and she has been helpful to me on a number of occasions after I adopted my Kitty. She's given me advice and suggestions for what vets to see and a number of other things. The volunteers of this organization are also wonderful and give many hours of their time. They are all conscientious, informative and love these animals. In sum H.O.P.E. is a blessing to not only the animals, but also to all dog and cat lovers who would like to provide a "forever home" for these beautiful, loveable animals.
