Although I have only been volunteering for a short time, I have participated in the various events that benefit H.O.P.E. What an amazing group of people - all with BIG hearts! Each volunteer devotes so much of their time to this great cause. They have saved so many aminals during their tenure that I am positive each volunteer has a special place in Heaven!

No opinion - I think they are doing a great job! I just wish I could do more for the organization!

I've had the pleasure of being a HOPE Volunteer for 7+ years and well know the tough choices that are a part of Rescue. We can't save them all but everyone works hard to make a difference for the ones we can and do help. One by one, and hopefully, someday , there will be no more homeless pets. Great group of honest and hardworking people who step up time and time again to be part of the solution. Two of my current pack are from HOPE and Margaret saved both . Nothing like a rescued dog, they are the best.

I have been a member of HOPE since 2006. I met this group of people in 2006, when I adopted a cat, named Roma, from them. I was so impressed with the group, that my wife and I decided to join them. I love animals so much, I am very proud to be a member of HOPE, and be able to help cats and dogs, find thier forever homes!!!

We took in our dog Pepper on 2/8/11 to get spayed and get her shots updated. I just have to say that my husband and I were so pleased and satisfied with the staff, Dr. and students. They were so reassuring, attentive, and comforting. I would definitely recommend all my fellow upland friends and neighbors to HOPE. Thank you so much for your wonderful services.

I’ve been volunteering for H.O.P.E. for approximately 5 years. I love this group. They are such a loving caring group of people. They are dedicated in finding the perfect home for the dogs and cats they rescue. I have fostered a number of dogs over they years for H.O.P.E. Each dog I have fostered has touched my heart in many ways. What is the most rewarding for me is when one of the dogs I’ve fostered and their new owners come and visit us at PetSmart on Saturdays when we are doing the adoptions.

In 2008, Good Samaritan found a little terrier that was beaten up badly, she was pregnant. I asked Margaret from H.O.P.E. for help. The dog (named Twiggie) had three puppies. Once the puppies were old enough they were put up for adoption thru H.O.P.E. I adopted the mom and one puppy. Twiggie is now a Therapy dog doing work for the Pet Prescription Team. Together we visit retirement homes in the Inland Empire. Thanks to H.O.P.E. this abused dog is now helping other.

The only change I would make is to have more foster parents. If H.O.P.E. had more foster parents they would be able to save more pets.

HOPE is dedicated to saving the lives of wonderful dogs and cats; educating the public regarding the need to spay and neuter our pets; and assisting residents of the City of Upland through our HOPE funded spay/neuter program. The dedicated volunteers show rescued dogs and cats every week at a local adoption event, and also showcase shelter cats regularly. HOPE is dedicated to finding the best homes for all of our rescues. The passion and dedication of the board members and volunteers is evident. The reward is seeing once-discarded loving pets, happy and safe in their forever homes. At the same time, many families are able to experience the love of a pet as HOPE is committed to matching the right dog or cat to each home. It's very satisfying to know that our efforts result in happy pets and happy people.

I participated in their 5k walk where your dog could walk with you. It was such a blast! There was a great turnout and all the money raised went toward their spayed and neutering program. Plus they gave cute goodie bags to each dog at the end. Everyone was so nice and their pets were very well behaved. My aunt, Evelyn Khalili, volunteers with them a lot and loves it. They do a great job finding homes for the animals they take in.

HOPE is a wonderful group of very dedicated people who go the extra mile trying to save the lives of abandoned animals. Their dedication amazes me...so many of the volunteers spend every weekend showcasing the adoptable pets at different Petsmart locations. They also pull animals out of the shelter and get them adopted. I am very lucky to have them saving the lives of the pets in my area.

I was doing my usual pet food shopping when I spotted an adorable tabbly cat in the "kitty condo". He looked right into my eyes and I knew I had to bring him home. I was so impressed with the interview process, and home visit. This organization is truly dedicated to making sure your new pet is being placed in a loving and forever home. He has blended well with my other furry kids.

I had been looking for a bigger dog for a few years. As I was leaving a dog class with my little rat terrier mix we ran into four HOPE dogs who were returning to the doggy daycare they were being foster at. One was a 3 month old lab/german shepherd mix who just laid down in front of me, licked my little dog's face and then licked me. That was the day I learned about HOPE. I was amazed by their committment to animals, the interview process and the home checks they did in order for anyone to adopt one of their animals. The people at HOPE were helpful and supportive and very nice. Because of them I have a petite 93 pound dog who loves everyone and now works with abused children. I am grateful to HOPE for helping me have an amazing dog that brings daily joy to my life and his little sister.
