This group, made up entirely of volunteers works 24/7 to help enrich both the lives of dogs and cats and the people whose lives are enriched by their pets. As the President of this all volunteer organization, I can attest to our sincere dedication and commitment to not only the dogs and cats that we rescue and save, but also the people whose lives we enrich through our thoughtful and thorough adoption process. Our commitment to the dogs/cats in the community is evident in our FREE spay/neuter program that we have offered to residents since 2005 in order to help reduce the overpopulation of pets in the City of Upland.

If you have ever truly loved an animal, you will love Helping Out Pets Everday (HOPE) and what it represents. This organization understands an animals pain from being injured or left behind because he is no longer wanted. Their goal is to save the unwanted and injured animal, make him healthy and then to find him a forever home where that person will love him as he should be loved. Animals can not speak out except through their painfilled or happy eyes and HOPE speaks for them. This organization is an incredible gift. Thank you HOPE for ALL you do.

seeing the results, watching a family adopt a dog or cat and seeing the love and care involved.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
very loyal and kind. They are willing to give their time and energy to find forever homes for these abandoned and unloved animals.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
probably fix and find homes for every animal abandoned in the shelters. To help combat the problems of over populating by the millions of cats that are left to wander. To stop the needless killing of animals.
Ways to make it better...
I had more time to become involved in this wonderful organization.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
the cost that continue to mount. Every time an injured animal is left, a litter is abandoned, HOPE is left to pick up the pieces. To spay or neuter, to have the animal seen by the vet... It's just never ending.
One thing I'd also say is that...
HOPE is an incredible organization. I wish that everyone could see how they operate and treat the animals and each other. HOPE volunteers are ANGELS for the animals. Someone has to speak up for them.
