H.O.P.E. (Helping Out Pets Everyday) is a unique organization that goes above and beyond for every animal in it's care. They make sure that these animals that have been abused, hurt, scared and unwanted, are placed in forever homes where the rest of their lives are lived out with love and security. I have had the opportunity to volunteer with this group for several events including the Dog-gone-walk-a-thon and have experienced first hand their love and care for their animals. An OUTSTANDING organization!

H.O.P.E. is a blessing for those animals in need. Those that have been left to die by the side of the road, those discarded by people who took them in but got bored with them, those animals that are about to be put down at the shelter... H.O.P.E. has helped get animals spayed and neutered for people who are willing to love an animal but can't afford to have it done. It's an organization that genuinely cares about the care and well being of the animal. They work hard to find forever homes for these animals who so need to be loved. It really does give these animals HOPE! Thank goodness for organizations like H.O.P.E!

HOPE is a wonderful rescue that is truly that...an organization devoted to the rescue and wellness of animals. The team works together in numerous ways to find the right forever homes for homeless animals. In addition, the group is dedicated to education and to helping our community at large. I am blessed to be part of such a great group!

My husband and I have been HOPE volunteers for years now. We primarily assist with cat adoption outreach at our local Petco, but occasionally assist with other events. We are proud to work with such a dedicated, caring group of people and an organization which continually promotes adoption, health and wellness, and education.

I have been a volunteer with HOPE for 4 years and am so proud of that! Our group is led by someone who owns her role and the responsibilities that come with it. With her leadership and the passion and commitment of the entire group, we have made amazing accomplishments in our community including increasing adoption rates, having a new shelter built, and increasing public awareness. Great job to everyone!

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

our new animal shelter, set to open in a few months and our increasing adoption faire numbers.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

do exactly what Margaret does: establish myself as a leader in adoptions, advocacy, and education and keep the entire group informed of related issues, both on a community and state/national level.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the passion this group shares to help animals in more ways than just finding great forever homes.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

passionate, dedicated and trully a team!

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

save countless animals' lives through advocacy, education, spay/neuter, and adoption!

Ways to make it better...

not applicable.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

money, of course, and the lack of community education/support. It's hard to end animal suffering when thousands of unwanted kittens, puppies, etc. are born because someone couldnt be bothered to spay/neuter their pet.

One thing I'd also say is that...

HOPE is a great team and deserves to win!

HOPE is an outstanding animal rescue group. The volunteers genuinely care about the dogs and the cats that they are helping as well as the community. They work hard to save as many dogs and cats they can that are at risk of being killed. They also sponsor low cost spaying and neutering for dogs and cats in the local area. They strive to find the best match for the dogs and cats and the people wanting to adopt. Having recently moved out of the area, I am having a difficult time finding another rescue group with the same high standards and practices.

HOPE is a wonderful non profit that focuses on saving the lives of dogs and cats that are at risk. They then work very hard in matching the dog or cat with their forever home.

HOPE is dedicated in finding the best home they can for their rescue pets. The folks in the organization devote a tremendous amount of time trying to raise funds to continue to keep up the good work they do. You can find them every Saturday at PetsMart showcasing their rescues and at many other events such as walks and parades bringing attention to their available pets. This small group amazes me at the amount of time, effort and dedication they put forth as they constantly try to make a difference in each and every animal they rescues life.

HOPE is the best animal rescue group there is around. They truly care for their animals and their constant attention to their needs shows. They work with people to find the perfect match for them, not just the dog or cat that looks cute. I have been voulenteering with HOPE for almost four years now and can honestly say they are simply the best and everything they do is for the animals.

I can't say enough good things about HOPE. The organization is very dedicated to find the best homes for dogs and cats. Many times animals are taken in who would otherwise be put down by shelters. I have adopted three dogs from HOPE and have no complaints. Top notch organization.

I have known of Helping Out Pets Everyday (HOPE) for several years, and have now been an active volunteer with this organization as a cat socializer for the past two years. In September of 2010, when I wanted to bring another cat into my household as a companion for my girl kitty, I adopted from HOPE a lovable, sweet, and affectionate male Flame-Point Siamese mix cat named Crosby. He is the best cat ever, and I have HOPE to thank for making my life a lot happier and sweeter because of him.

HOPE is a wonderful animal rescue and advocacy organization which for the past 10 years has rescued many, many cats and dogs and placed them in loving and caring forever homes. HOPE always goes the extra mile for all of these animals; uses the utmost care in placing them in the best possible homes; and the volunteers always give well over 100% to make sure that the dogs and cats are all well tended to, cared for, played with, and made as happy and comfortable as possible until they find their forever homes.

For anyone who is serious about adopting a cat or dog, I would highly recommend that they contact Helping Out Pets Everyday. I am very happy to serve and be a part of HOPE, and I am very proud to recommend this wonderful, caring organization to anyone who wants to adopt, and/or is looking for an excellent opportunity to give back by volunteering to help animals in need. It is a most rewarding and fulfilling experience for me to be an active part of this organization.

Sincerely,

Susan Rittenour
HOPE Volunteer and Cat Socializer

I became involved with HOPE several years ago. We had just lost our beloved cat Newman and were ready to open our hearts to another cat. We saw a beautiful orange tabby named Tyson and after spending time with him, knew he was the perfect addition to our family. After meeting some of the HOPE volunteers and seeing their dedication in placing rescued animals in their forever homes, I knew this organization was one I wanted to give more of myself to. I have recommended HOPE to people looking for a forever companion and I personally have adopted 4 of HOPE's rescues. This organization has some of the most dedicated and compassionate volunteers I have ever seen and work tirelessly to help dogs and cats in our community and beyond.
