I have been a fundraiser for HOPE for 10 years! I love my fellow volunteers who work the shelters and are on the front line of rescue. Margaret Coffman and gang have kept going through the good times and the bad. If you're looking for a group of committed rescuers, HOPE is the group for you!

I have been a HOPE volunteer for over 6 years now and am contstabtly impressed by the work we do saving animals, finding forever homes, providing education, and supporting our community. From outreach with our fosters and Shelter animals to free spay/neuter to animal adoption faires to training shelter volunteers...I am amazed at all we do.

I heard about HOPE from a friend who is a volunteer and have participated in what little I can contribute to the fundraising efforts. I believe HOPE is a wonderful organization and I wish there were many more "HOPES".

I found HOPE when I found a lost dog on the street, I had no choice but to take him to the shelter, I could not stand the thought of him getting stuck there if his owner did not come for him so I contacted HOPE.
I sent an e-mail to Margaret, the president and asked her to look out for him & keep an eye on him so the worst wouldnt happen, she did not hesitate to help!! Luckly the owner did come for him so it was a happy ending. I was so touched that this rescue group cared to help me keep an eye on a dog found in the street that I made a donation and started volunteering!!

I have seen many wonderful dogs & cats find forever homes and have even asked HOPE to take a few from people that could not keep their pets any longer, they have never hesitated to help!!

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
I would love to see HOPE expand and get a facility so we could take as many dogs & cats that we could and never have to worry about funding. That would make HOPE unstoppable!

I began volunteering with HOPE the beggining of my senior year in high school, and still to this day during my busy freshman year at college, I always make time to help HOPE out because it is such an incredible organization. I have had more fosters than I can count, and each of them was matched perfectly into the dream home they always deserved. HOPE does a great job with matching the dogs or cats to families and ensuring that the quality of life they will recieve is worth while. I really appreciate all the HOPE does for animals in need. One specific example was my foster Carter, who was found under a car infested with tics. The poor little guy was on the brink of death and HOPE not only saved him, but also found him a home. It is a beautiful thing that Margaret and Janis do.

I have been volunteering with HOPE for the last 4 years. The HOPE volunteers do a wonderful job helping people find the right match before adopting a dog or cat. If it weren't for HOPE, I would never have adopted my dog, Peyton. Peyton has taught me so much about working with shy dogs. I also really appreciate all of their work in the local community such getting local dogs and cats spayed/neutered.

Although I have only been volunteering for a short time, I have participated in the various events that benefit H.O.P.E. What an amazing group of people - all with BIG hearts! Each volunteer devotes so much of their time to this great cause. They have saved so many aminals during their tenure that I am positive each volunteer has a special place in Heaven!

I've had the pleasure of being a HOPE Volunteer for 7+ years and well know the tough choices that are a part of Rescue. We can't save them all but everyone works hard to make a difference for the ones we can and do help. One by one, and hopefully, someday , there will be no more homeless pets. Great group of honest and hardworking people who step up time and time again to be part of the solution. Two of my current pack are from HOPE and Margaret saved both . Nothing like a rescued dog, they are the best.

I have been a member of HOPE since 2006. I met this group of people in 2006, when I adopted a cat, named Roma, from them. I was so impressed with the group, that my wife and I decided to join them. I love animals so much, I am very proud to be a member of HOPE, and be able to help cats and dogs, find thier forever homes!!!

We took in our dog Pepper on 2/8/11 to get spayed and get her shots updated. I just have to say that my husband and I were so pleased and satisfied with the staff, Dr. and students. They were so reassuring, attentive, and comforting. I would definitely recommend all my fellow upland friends and neighbors to HOPE. Thank you so much for your wonderful services.
