I like this organization because of their low overhead costs. Almost all the money donated goes to planting trees, not paying consultants and administrators. I also support their commitment to sustainable forestry. Every project has a management plan to assure our future supply of hardwoods. In short, you get a lot of bang for the buck.

The HFF provides our company with the ability to replant the trees that we use in our manufacturing process. It is important to us that this donation will be used to further the wood products industry, since their plantings must have a management plan. This unique organization helps in all aspects of our business in that we can feel good about the products we sell and the ability of our forests to continue to sustain future generations. If more people knew about this organiztion and what it provides to the sustainability of our natural resource it would go a long way to alter the perceptions about the wood products industry.

The future of our hardwood forests is important to me. Through the Hardwood Forestry Fund I helped plant hardwood trees for future generations. More than 90 cents of every dollar donated, actually plants trees in the ground and every project includes a forest management plan to insure the furture sustainability of our forsts. This is one of the most effective records of any forest related non-profit.

I just wanted to send you a quick thank you note regarding your tree planting program. After searching for several different ways that I could help establish future forests, I stumbled across your organization on the internet. My family doesn't own any forest land but we certainly use wood and like our hardwood floors, cherry cabinets... I commend you for creating a program that helps me give back to the forests with the assurance that the money is efficiently used in putting trees in the ground.
