Nonprofit Issues:

865 37th Place Vero Beach FL 32960 USA

To improve access to health care for the impoverished people of Cite Soleil, Haiti.

Our clinic is entirely staffed by Haitians including: a doctor, three nurses (one specializing in prenatal care), a pharmacy worker and a manager. Donated money is used to pay the Haitian staff and to provide all medications and supplies for the clinic. Our long range plans include strong educational and advocacy components aimed at improving the living conditions of the residents of Cite Soleil.

Target demographics:

Cite Soleil is a 3 square mile area in which 200,000 to 400,000 people live in conditions that would defy the imagination of most Americans. Most of the people that we treat at the clinic are young adults and children as most of the residents don't live past the age of 50.

Direct beneficiaries per year:

The clinic supports at least 15,000 to 20,000 visits per year for the people of Cite Soleil.

Reviews for Haiti Clinic

Rating: 5 stars

I have participated in multiple clinics. They are well run and accomplish a lot. We cared for many hundreds of very poor, very sick patients.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

multiple clinics in Cite Soleil

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

expand its reach to include public health measures, such as clean water, sewer, vaccination programs, preventive care, etc
