I started out with Habitat for Humanity as a volunteer. This is a grass roots organization that does not give away homes. Homeowners put in hundreds of sweat equity hours building their own homes alongside volunteers and they are committed to their families, their neighborhood and their community. Habitat says they give a hand up, not a hand out, and it's true.

help us in our ReStore in Leominster, MA, reach out to faith communities for support, help us coordinate our volunteer schedule, provide photographs of our many activities, get construction materials and supplies ordered, help us select our families and plan programs to ensure their continued success, help us with our fundraising work and ensure our continued success in many other ways too.
