Grist is a fantastic resource for anyone interested in the environment; however, even those who are not interested would learn something from their exposure to Grist. I regularly share Grist by e-mailing links to articles of important issues. The information contained therein educates, entertains and enlightens. And I have experienced all three and more. Grist is the go-to for essential environmental news.

Grist occupies a much needed niche in the environmental media field--comedy and whit! In a field where almost everyone involved is depressed, Grist steps up and cheers both the efforts being done and urges us all to keep fighting the good fight with smart sexy writing. Three cheers for Grist!

Grist is great! Their articles are eye-opening and challenge everyday citizens, like myself, to take action and initiate change. Knowledge is power, and Grist gives us the knowledge needed to better ourselves by being more environmentally friendly; this action is not only good for us humans but good for our planet - - a true, win for all :)
Thank you Grist!!

Grist articles stimulate an energetic flow of comments related to climate change and related life style change issues. Obama's climate change policy and recipes for shampoo and roadkill are recent memorable topics. Feel free ump in.

Every single day, I wake up to Grist for my news.

You can tell that it's written by other members of humankind, rather than someone boasting off their opinions in your face or robotic blog posters. They are fueled by the same incredulous emotions that we all come to know as a combined
guilt for the sanity and sanctity of this world that we've been given. This Eden that others continue to destroy.

I rely on Grist to sort through the confusion and offer those like me, the one thing I need most in these trying times...

Hope.

Grist is great. I come here for knowledgeable news that I can't seem to get anywhere else. It's tough to wade through all the other, larger news sites to find nothing of substance, but I can always rely on Grist to give me great content.

Help reach it out to the masses but without drowning it with the rest of the internet stupidity.

I love Grist! Been reading it since its inception years ago and can't live without the weekly summary version. It keeps me up to date on all the major enviro news that i want to know in a light, funny way that keeps me tuned in (vs. other lengthy & depressing reports that i always mean to catch up on but never quite find the time for). Grist staff have their finger on the pulse of what's going on offering insightful blogs, like David Roberts' and useful advice from "ask Umbra". Grist does for environmental news what Colbert & Daily Show do for the general news - give you the real deal wrapped in edgy humor.

I enjoy the weekly summary edition. And if i'm too busy, i keep in my email box for future catching up - something to enjoy on a lunch break.

I think it is very important to have organizations like Grist to teach people how to be more environmentally friendly and aware. A lot of people want to make a different, but are not quite sure how. Grist provides people with simple solutions towards becoming better citizens of Mother Earth. Their tips are helpful and fun!

The thing I love about Grist is that the articles funny, informative AND motivating. They make it easy to follow things that are going on in the environment, but at the same time don't give you the gloom and doom report or give you a "debbie downer" take on the news. I am always emailing articles to friends and family and passing on funny things I have read on their site.
