Grist's eco witty, groovy or edgy pre-headline before every main headline soooooo nurtures my witty, groovy or edgy head-life. Then the articles either go deep to show the team how to go deep for our sweet earth, or they cheer us on so we can all be a bit more chipper when we are doing our sometimes painful or gristy work for our sweet mother earth.

I receive news from Grist every day and consider it to be an indispensible resource for me professionally. It covers topics more than mainstream press and in fact has become a go to source, breaking stories later covered by the Post, Times, etc. And, it is wickedly amusing. I absolutely love the Grist.

GRIST does the best job of environmental reporting and they do it with compassion and humor. I read their weekly newsletter online without fail and I have donated to environmental causes because of their spotlight on the issue. I'm a huge fan! M Barbour Columbia, CA 95310

Funny and informative at the same time on a wide range of environmental issues. Gives me info I don't think I'd find anywhere else. Ask Umbra can be hilarious as well as thought provoking!

I've always been interested in the environment and Conserving Resources.

I've had Grist for years now and am always pleased to be up to date as best i can about issues. In particular, i like to know about trends in the auto industry with new advances and what other folks are up to
in other countries.

Grist provides concise journalistic interpretation of relevant environmental issues. Their independence lends credibility to their reporting. When my economy improves, Grist will benefit.

I recently retired after working 37 years at a University, in St. Paul,MN.
I've always been interested in Ecology and Conserving Resources and
ReCycling.

I subscribed to GRIST and have found it to be a good source of information on all my favorite interests! I even
forward some items to
my daughter in California, since she is an Environmentalist!

Grist Brightens my day...and I hope it will continue for years and years!

I'm pretty new to getting GRIST, but I am sure that I will benefit from learning more about everything Green. I have recently been encouraged by Grist to go throughout my Duplex and make sure we are using all CFL Lamps. I measured the Wattage used in a electric space heater in the Rental Unit and asked the renter not to use it anymore. I recently purchased an LED Lamp for my front porch. It only uses 7.8Watts, equivalent to a 60W incandescent. It is very bright (4000Kelvin), I keep it on all the time.

I only know about Grist by receiving their e-newsletters. I need to learn more! I have forwarded the e-newletters to friends, who I hope will subscribe. I would just say, "Keep Up the Good Work."

I have enjoyed reading Grist for years. It is a wonderful way to learn about multiple and multi-faceted issues which are near and dear to my heart. Reading Grist allows me to be informed and branch into issues that I may not have been thinkiing of, but that are so important to our environment, our knowledge of business practices, what is safe for consumers and SO much more.

Great writing and good humor even when the subject matter gets depressing... News about food and connection to the environment is really informative, often disturbing -- I don't know anywhere else you could find this kind of stuff. Some good articles about bikes in cities have been in there too.

Just as an aside, my dentist told me that his son was a writer for the Grist -- that improved my smile for a few days!

I have to say I have followed Grist for a few years but today I found myself rolling on the floor with the great article by Jess Zimmerman. If it wasn't so funny it would not be Grist -with the clear and present danger of the real news stories. Well done Grist- mill out that news as always with the best on the net for truth in the newz.
