Rainbow Rooms are an absolute blessing for those in need. CPS workers are paid so poorly in relation to their work that providing needs out of their own pockets had become a ridiculous issue. The birth of rooms to supply needs is a wonderful answer.
The second benefit is that it involves
many community members that would perhaps never be aware of the needs or of their ability to help.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Contact with those that are helped is not personally seen because of privacy issues. The exception is Christmas or special event times which brighten anyones day with the sparkle in the children's eyes.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

find additional funding so that more could be helped and expand to those aging out of foster care

I started as a volunteer for Community Partners/Rainbow Room in the fall of 2010 as my Junior League placement. I was so touched by what Community Partners does for neglected and abused children that when a part-time position became open I applied for it. I am so proud to now be working with Community Partners and Child Protective Services in my county. We forget what we need on a daily basis to function and these children deserve everything that other children receive. They are innocent victims and Community Partners is able to provide them with hope and security for the future.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Hearing the outcomes of displaced children and how Community partners was able to help their families stay together or how they were able to assist them along their journey to a new home.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Nothing, this group is awesome!
