I always find treasures at the Good Will - these are things that you cannot find anywhere else. The experience is often like walking down memory lane. You'll find fine crystal from the Czech republic to good old fashioned American made tools. There is something there for everyone and all at a more than reasonable price! I also know that every dollar spent at the Good Will, is a dollar put to good use. I often will see classrooms filled with people who are diligently working toward bettering themselves. As a contribution to society, the Good Will is providing people with the knowledge necessary to enter the work force. Bravo!

I just bought my first item from the shop goodwill auction site, although it was damaged during shipment(through no fault of goodwill) their customer svc mgr.was right on top of it with a full refund and prompt communication through the whole process. I will defintely make more purchases using shop goodwill auctions. I highly reccomend them..Not to mention what a great cause to donate to..

I love Goodwill. I buy nearly everything I own there. The store at 32nd and Chandler Blvd. has an unbelievably long wait on 1/2 price days, yet other store keep the lines short. The line is sometimes all the way back to the shoes down the ramp and through the lower store. It discourages me from going there on sale days. Please don't jam clothes on the racks at all of the stores. If you want me to look at clothes, there has to be space to separate them. I've seen floor people cram them on the rack just to empty their rack. For me to shop, I either need to pull them all toward me and leave the hangers jacked in the air because I can't shove them back down, or give up and not even look. Pleases train taggers to staple the tag on the hem or thicker part of the sleeve. Many of my shirts show they are Goodwill purchases because of the two little staple holes on the wrist of my sleeves. Thank you for providing a great service where everybody wins!

Ways to make it better...

shorter check out lines at 32nd and Chandler on 1/2 price day staple in hem of sleeves, not single layer of fabric which causes holes don't jam stuff on the rack so it can't be looked at

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

not jamming the racks, being more selective with clothing, and better quality is frequently not better quality

One thing I'd also say is that...

I'm glad you are here for my shopping needs and treasures

Goodwill is an EXCELLENT organization that is much more than donations and stores. Goodwill uses their funds to help put people to work.

Sometimes I find things that I would never expect and have in my home as furniture or wear every day. The staff is usually very nice and I enjoy talking to the people because they seem to enjoy their job and seeing the things people find.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Hire people that need work and help so many struggling or trying to start a better life.

Ways to make it better...

There was more stock.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Getting people to shop second hand items.

One thing I'd also say is that...

These stores have been around for years and help not only those hired but people that don't have the money to shop at other stores.

I regularly donate items to Goodwill. I do this because I know that they provide good services. Many Years ago I had job counseling and it really turned my life around, I know that Goodwill does job counseling and If my donations can help this organization provide something that helped me, it makes it that much better.

I have been shopping my neighborhood Goodwill for five years. Not only are Goodwill salespeople cheerful, I find the merchandise of good quality and the prices extremely fair. My favorite day to shop is Sunday. It's quiet and I get to use my student discount card. I know that my donations to Goodwill support a cause much larger than my neighborhood and that makes me feel good inside.
