Golden Rainbow Center-Sage
Rating: 4.89 stars 18 reviews
Location: 700 east Tahquitz Cyn Dr Suite F Palm Springs CA 92262 USA
Results: Due to the expanding need for services and recognition of our successes, Golden Rainbow Center moved to a new property in downtown Palm Springs. The larger location provides much needed space for expanded programs such as a weekly Food Pantry supplying necessities to the disadvantaged.
Target demographics: We target the largely underserved Senior LGBT community in the Coachella Valley (i.e. greater Palm Springs area) by providing support, social activities, classes and programs to enable seniors to have an alternate family. Among the many programs currently offered are: Mental Health (including PEI - Prevention & Early Intervention Plan with Riverside County), Fitness atter Fifty, Tai Chi, Computers, Self Defense, Financial and MediCare counselling, and the Food Pantry.
Direct beneficiaries per year: Serving about 300 each week
Geographic areas served: Riverside County Calfornia
