Go to Health!'s Heal the Healer PLaYLab energized and inspired our group of burnt out health care professionals to self care using techniques that literally took seconds to implement. A favorite was the five second meditations and the yogic blocking of negative imput. The world should learn what Go to Health! Teaches. Thank you Kira!

Go To Health is an exciting not-for-profit focused on the broadest notion of health. As I understand it, they are still growing into all that they want to be as a source for health information, delivery of clinical care, motivation for self-help, connection of health and art, and player in the politics of health. Their strength now is the Heal The Healers playshop that had me reinvigorated to be a physician. Part yoga, part psychotherapy, part motivational session, part philosophical exploration, the Heal the Healers playshop, and its leader Kira Ferrand, took the group of us and reconnected us to our own bodies, our own spirits, our own original enthusiasm to be healers of some sort or other, our own deep rewards from being healers of some sort or other. In times making the role of healer difficult in many ways, Go To Health comes to the rescue to make the role of healer prized (and sustainable) again.

I am an overworked heatlh care worker who juggles elder, child , partner, and sick pet care with no time for self care or so i thought. When my organization invited the Heal the Healer Playlab, i wanted to duck out. But from the first moment, i was engaged. I learned new self help skills that i use in my daily life. It was loads of fun! The Playlab was truly a safe place that i could experiment and learn (and relearn) mini meditations, breathing exercises, chi and prana to name just a few of the many techniques taught. I am looking forward to the next one!

After consulting with Go to Health about how we can support our direct service staff, we are excited to be bringing them to our agency for a PlayLab workshop! Their knowledge and compassion related to health, wellness and self-care as well as their commitment to bringing this information to EVERYONE (not just those who have a great deal of money) is inspiring. We look forward to other opportunities to partner with Go to Health! Thank you.

I am a physician who works a great deal. I am incredibly lucky to be in a professional position to help people daily and to change the world just a little bit every day in a positive direction. But I often recognize how gruelling a career it is, at least for me, as I strive to achieve nothing short of excellence in every case, every day, since healthcare is a critically important matter. To the rescue comes Kira and Go-to-Health. Her Heal the Healer techniques have saved me. She has kept me in the game so I can continue to help others. I am the perfect example of a healer needing healing, and Kira has delivered. Energy, vitality, stress reduction, patience all are better in me as a direct result of the self-help techniques Kira has gifted to me. But even more importantly, as a result of Go-to-Health's Kira and the Heal the Healers Playshop, I am a significantly less angry doctor, despite the draining circumstances. That translates directly into me being a more compassionate physician, and I can have no greater healing potion in my black doctor's bag than compassion (and the therapeutic relationship it generates). So, simply said, I am a better clinician because of the help I have received from Kira and Go-to-Health. Flat out, I am a more healing healer because of the outstanding Heal the Healer work of Kira and her organization, Go-to-Health.
