After consulting with Go to Health about how we can support our direct service staff, we are excited to be bringing them to our agency for a PlayLab workshop! Their knowledge and compassion related to health, wellness and self-care as well as their commitment to bringing this information to EVERYONE (not just those who have a great deal of money) is inspiring. We look forward to other opportunities to partner with Go to Health! Thank you.

I know Kira Ferrand for more than 20 years and I have watched her put Go To Health together despite a work schedule that can only be described as grueling. It's been an inspiration to me to see her "Heal The Healer" workshops evolve from concept to reality over the years and I admire how she has focused on stress reduction via meditation and relaxation techniques. In a health care system plagued by corruption and over reliant on technology, Go To Health is a breath of fresh air,

I am a physician who works a great deal. I am incredibly lucky to be in a professional position to help people daily and to change the world just a little bit every day in a positive direction. But I often recognize how gruelling a career it is, at least for me, as I strive to achieve nothing short of excellence in every case, every day, since healthcare is a critically important matter. To the rescue comes Kira and Go-to-Health. Her Heal the Healer techniques have saved me. She has kept me in the game so I can continue to help others. I am the perfect example of a healer needing healing, and Kira has delivered. Energy, vitality, stress reduction, patience all are better in me as a direct result of the self-help techniques Kira has gifted to me. But even more importantly, as a result of Go-to-Health's Kira and the Heal the Healers Playshop, I am a significantly less angry doctor, despite the draining circumstances. That translates directly into me being a more compassionate physician, and I can have no greater healing potion in my black doctor's bag than compassion (and the therapeutic relationship it generates). So, simply said, I am a better clinician because of the help I have received from Kira and Go-to-Health. Flat out, I am a more healing healer because of the outstanding Heal the Healer work of Kira and her organization, Go-to-Health.

I am a midwife in a very busy hospital in the South Bronx. Kira Lara Ferrand has brought her Heal the Healer workshops on two ocassions to our practice. Each time, our staff has been extremely grateful. She has the capacity to take a group of health care providers -- all committed, all highly competent professionals, but tired and sometimes struggling with frank exhaustion --and to offer us a respite. She provides a wide range of exercises which teach self care and stress reduction, and which can be practiced both in a group setting and alone. The group work builds empathy and a strong feeling of consensus, which is invaluable in a field that depends on teamwork. She also teaches meditation and relaxation techniques to be performed individually, She has a deep knowledge of the physiology of her practice, as well as it's intellectual and spiritual basis. The Heal the Healer workshops live up to their name, and we are very grateful!

Go to Health's Heal-the-Healer playlab, facilitated by Kira Ferrand, was amazing and life-changing. The stress reduction techniques I learned have been invaluable. I intend to take the workshop again.
