Since the economic downturn in '08, Global Champions have not slowed down a bit with its continuous giving, be it food, water, medical supplies, but mainly Yank, the champs & volunteers being at Ground Zero whereever the disaster is.
I vote for Global Village Champions Foundation as the 2013 Great Nonprofit winner.

Muhammad Ali, Evander Holyfield, Manny Pacquiao, Michael Jordan, Celine Dion and many more Champions all pulling together to reach one Billion Meals served which is awesome. Thank You Mr. Yank Barry for putting together this great team.

If there is a story to be told, then look at the generosity of this organization headed by Mr. Yank Barry.
The roster of celebrity's ranging from the sports world to the entertainment field is tops!
It would be an understatement to say there has been a definite decline of hunger in the world over the last two decades through the help of Yank and his champions.
Keep stride, and God-Speed in reaching the Billion mark.

I have learned Global Village champions will team up with one of my past favorite boxing champion Lennox Lewis and his foundation to feed hungry children in Jamaica in early May 2013. I think its great to see charities work together feeding hungry kids

Watching this organization grow over the years has been most inspirational to me, my family, friends & colleagues. Mr. Yank shows how to use a snow ball or ripple effect thru the champions that continue to help to do good by contributing their time to help feed the hungry, supply clothing, medical supplies and water. Wherever there is a catastrophe, Yank's buddies are there to lend a large helping hand.
