We became interested in GEBR after losing our 10 y/o bulldog. English Bulldogs are the most wonderful pets and living without our sweet Louie was so difficult. I searched out bulldog rescues in GA and found GEBR. We began by fostering a sweet boy and when it was time for him to be adopted by his forever family, it was so hard to let go. We fostered again and this time, we decided we had to keep our girl. She has been a wonderful addition to our family. Our kids would be miserable without her. We fostered another boy until he found his forever family and have helped out with some fundraisers. This is such a well run organization and all the folks we have come in contact with have been warm, caring, nice and very well educated on everything bulldog. Their knowledge of the breed is so vast, I go to them with any major question. Saving english bulldogs is their #1 priority and I swear they'd mortgage their houses if they had to. Can't say enough good things.

GEBR is a fabulous English Bulldog Rescue that has made a tremendous impact on the neglected English Bulldogs in Georgia. Their main event, The Bully Ball, which takes place in Atlanta, helps raise money for their cause, as well as other rescues in the Southeast, with the help of former UGA/NFL sports celebrities, alumni, fans and English Bulldog owners. GEBR is 100% volunteer based and 100% of all proceeds go to the English Bulldogs in their care. GEBR is 501(c) 3 non profit, and is run by Director, Ruthann Phillips. This rescue is reputable and has a strong following among the UGA alumni, fans, and English Bulldog owners. Thanks to GEBR and The Bully Ball, a positive impact has been made on the English Bulldogs that have been rescued in the southeast. I am so proud of what the rescue is doing and the impact they are having on neglected bulldogs in the southeast. GEBR is one of the largest English Bulldog rescues in the southeast.

The Great!
