GENTLE GIANTS RESCUE AND ADOPTIONS INC
Invite reviews
Gentle Giants Rescue has many large- and giant-breed dogs available as mixes, always as puppies. They are breeders, or purchase from breeders; there simply is no other explanation for the constant flow of dogs from this group, with absurd explanations like that they have them flown in from all around the country. They are bogus, through and through, charging over $1000 on the average per adoption- more than 4 times what any real giant-breed rescue would for equivalent dogs. They continue to maintain nonprofit status despite paying an absurd amount to their employee, and filing lawsuits to remove negative comments about their actions from the web.

Gentle Giants works hard to rescue large breed dogs. They have many nice and unusual dog breeds available for adoption. Do your homework on what breed would be best for you because the choices can be overwhelming.
The Great!
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
The organization helps many dogs to find loving homes each year and does their best to provide the care needed for each animal. The dog I adopted is very sweet and the end result of the process was good.
Ways to make it better...
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Get more volunteers to take the burden off of the current staff so that potential owners have as much time as necessary to get to know the different animals and the dogs have the best chase of finding a suitable lasting home.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
Seeing the different breeds of dogs. Finding an addition to my family.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
Very dedicated to helping animals.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Get an additional or larger facility, hire staff, utilize volunteers and rescue more animals.
Ways to make it better...
The process was less chaotic. There were lots of dogs to choose from and having more time to make a choice would be of benefit.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
There are so many dogs that need rescue and time, space and funds are obviously limited.
