Where to start? Pam and Greg started with a seed of "How can we help kids? They mixed that with lots of love and passion to see hurting kids feel like a family. Now there are so many SPLASH houses and other ministries in Tucson it is mind boggling. I am a teacher in Tucson - I taught at one of the schools where GAP did BACKPACKS for SCHOOLS! The delight on the kids faces as they got their own beautiful, new backpack was priceless. More priceless snapshots in my mind were seeing the delight on foster children's faces at birthday celebrations and family vacations, family movie night, and playing at the pool and....oh so many more - as the underserved foster kids who live at SPLASH Houses got their first taste of family life that was joyful and full of love. I will never forget a child, with tears in her eyes telling me "I have never celebrated my birthday - is that cake mine? Are those presents mine? Is that all for me? " She was 10 that year. Thanks GAP MInistries for touching so many lives!

Perhaps one of the most caring nonprofit staff's in all of Southern Arizona, GAP Ministries touches under-served youngsters whom we all care about.
Vistoso Cyclists, and it's Wheels for Kids Program, gifts bicycles to children in desperate need. Through GAP Ministries, Cyclists are now able to reach youngsters in the Child Protective System, Title 1 children and other less fortunate kids who have great needs.
Serving children right here in the Greater Oro Valley and Marana communities, Vistoso Cyclists gifts new and lightly used bikes (made near-perfect by our retired mechanics). We now have a local partner, GAP Ministries; Certainly a Blessing.

I've known founders Greg and Pam Ayers since the mid 1980's, well before GAP Ministries. To see how God prepared, equipped and uniquely gifted them to start this incredible safe haven ministry for abused and neglected children and how much they have expanded in scope of services and lives touched is truly overwhelming. I can't wait to hear updates of how Gap Ministries is serving the community and children and teens in need of positive love, wonderful role models, and opportunities to become everything they were created to be. Greg and Pam are heros in my life that I look up to as willing to leave behind everything they had to make a difference in the lives of thousands of kids. And they continue to inspire others to do the same.

GAP Ministries is not only doing a wonderful/positive work for children, they are an inspiration to any lives they touch! They don't just focus on the lives that are in their care daily (which are many and needs are great), they reach out to the community donating 1000's of backpacks a year as well as assist families in need. Their Motto is 'Impacting ONE life at a time'. Each child is special, they don't just meet physical needs, they love each child, giving them a famiy environment to learn and grow in. May they continue to be blessed as they are such a blessing!!!

WE help support Gap Minitries, We Happen to be very Proud of the work they do. Pam and Greg have been called to this ministry and you can see the Lord working through this calling. I am not saying this because Pam is my neice, and I know the years they have spent in this service. I am saying this because they are such a big part in the care of Kids that really, really need lots of love and atteintion, and they give it to them abundantly. Praise God. Love and prayers, Aunt Katy and Uncle Jim.

I have been associated with GAP Ministries for over 12 years now and have been thoroughly impressed with the loving care that is given to these children. Coming from such desperate backgrounds, they are given love, acceptance and guidelines to help them turn their lives around and overcome the dysfunction of their past. For some of these children, it's the first time they have felt genuine love and guidance. I highly endorse this ministry to children and believe it is changing the course of scores of lives. I applaud the heart and effort shown by Greg and Pam Ayers in this difficult but needed endeavor.

For the past 10 years we have taken a trip from Salt Lake City to Tucson to assist GAP ministries. But their team and their kids assisted us beyond measure in so many ways. Our time of fixing up their homes and teaching their kids about Jesus always blessed us more. We were privileged to work with them and we were treated like royalty, really!
