From my first interaction with Full Circle Fund at their "Philanthropy Remixed" event in 2008, to this past December when I put my membership on hold to go to school in NY (FCF in NYC would be great!) I have been blown away by the quality of the people they bring together and the conversations they are able to spark. The members of Full Circle Fund are busy, accomplished professionals who commit time and money to this organization because they want to engage with social issues in a way that leverages their professional insights and skills.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Part of the mission of FCF is to develop the next generation of community leaders - I can testify from my own experience working as a team lead for a grantee project that the balance of structure and creative freedom that Full Circle fund provides it's members is an effective and impactful way for volunteers to test their wings in affecting social change.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

facilitate more active interaction among the different circles because there is such great work being done by all of them!

I have been exposed to the amazing work that Full Circle Fund does on a regular basis. The great minds of the Bay Area (and beyond) coming together and dedicating time and money to important areas is truly admirable. Full Circle Fund represents some of the best and brightest working towards making the world a better place. Its members are dedicated, and willing to go the extra mile, and help nonprofits that need it.

Full Circle Fund is the most remarkable organization with which I have ever been affiliated. The members are wonderful and committed people putting in not only their money, but time and effort to help make our grantees successful. As a member run organization, the members: 1) choose the areas where they feel they will have the most impact 2) educate themselves on the areas of interest 3) research non-profits working on those topics 4) go through a grant cycle to choose the non-profits to fund 5) bring their knowledge and connections to the funded non-profits to help make them successful The organization is run very professionally and is truly exceptional.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

tangible, successful programs such as the Oakland Green Job Corp and San Francisco Project Homeless Connect.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

working with remarkable people to take on the toughest challenges of our time.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

committed to the highest levels of excellence.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

spend more time on the work that matters and less time on fundraising.

I've been involved with Full Circle Fund for five years and I think it's a fantastic organization. It's such a rewarding experience to help our grantees. The quality of the people involved in Full Circle Fund is incredibly high - I'm very inspired by our members from across the public, private and non-profit sectors.
