From the Heart productions, led by film industry legend Carole Dean, has been a powerful voice in the film industry for over 20 years. The Roy W. Dean Film Grant continues to put forth the most significant life-changing, culture-altering films anywhere in the world. This is one film grant that makes a difference in a positive way in our world.

From The Heart Productions has for over 20 years provided support for documentarians and filmmakers with projects that are unique and make a contribution to society. Their Roy W. Dean Grant has provided over $2,000,000 in film, film services, and production services to help projects get completed. Carole Dean, the president of From The Heart Productions, generously gives her time to judge each submission. She offers them help with words of support and tips to improve their project gleaned from years of experience in working with filmmakers. She takes a personal interest in each one. Some filmmakers submit their projects just to get some of her invaluable funding, script, and editing advice.
