F5RS is an organization with a compassionate, knowledgable staff and volunteer base that truly cares about the work they do. Those involved have years of experience running an animal rescue and make it part of their lifestyle, not just a side project. The board and staff are continually educating themselves and improving their methods. The organization is also deeply committed to public outreach and civil service. I am proud to be involved with F5RS, and believe it is a valuable organization, worthy of support.

I would secure more funding do that operations could be expanded and improved even further.

I'm proud to be able to say I'm a friend, volunteer and board member of F5RS. Daily, I see the wonderful work this rescue does for rabbits, birds, and small animals. Some of these creatures are unadoptable but will safely and happily live out their life in the sanctuary. Animals are spayed or neutered, trained and socialized before being adopted out which makes them a wonderful pet for a pre-approved family to take home. F5RS is active in the community including visits using their therapy bunny teams, providing various classes, education at different venues, fundraising and selling items through craft shows, flea markets, their online stores and their newly opened store in the rescue. F5RS has been able to help out in many emergency situations such as hording cases, helping families in crisis and taking in special needs animals other rescues could not provide for. F5RS has recently become a 501(c)3 and is always looking for volunteers, monetary donations, donations of supplies (including NEWSPAPERS) and donations of items that can be resold to raise money for the rescue.

I joined the board of F5RS in 2012. Since then, we have successfully recieved our 501(c)3 status, we are getting our rescue and sanctuary set up and are working on assorted shows and fundraisers for during the year. We have helped take care of the animals in our rescue when needed and I work on the rescue IT and website. I encourage everyone to donate or volunteer to this great organization.
