Impeccably decorated. A rooftop patio view of the Marietta Square. Cleverly-marketed theme parties like "Brew With A View" on said patio. And a staff so attentive during special events and private parties that you'd think the red carpet ran from the front door to infinity and beyond. highly professional and just really, REALLY great people - they truly care about their community and work selflessly to promote Marietta as a whole - not just The Earl Smith Strand Theatre.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Buy the building and several other Marietta Square frontage properties from Goldstein and tell him to go stick it where the sun don't shine.
Ways to make it better...
I were on a yacht in the Caribbean lying on a chaise and surrounded by beautiful women in flowing white robes while feeding me grapes. Like that's ever going to happen... S
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
lack of funding.
One thing I'd also say is that...
if it weren't for this organization the Marietta Square wouldn't be half the tourist and local entertainment and dining destination it is today.

The Strand is a great destination venue for a wide variety of events! I've enjoyed live musical theatre, fine art openings, films and just relaxing on the roof top patio. This unique theater brings a great deal of cultural enrichment to the Marietta area. They're definitely off to a great start!

I have attended many activities at The Strand and found them all to be fantastic. I was there for the fashion show that featured local celebraties as models, a fabulous concert by Banks and Shane, the One Year Celebration, and many others. The renovation is absolutely beautiful with attention to so many details. All of the banquet facilities are well appointed and the balcony wonderful. What a great place to have a glass of wine, chat with friends,and make new friends, all while looking out over Marietta Square. Definitely two thumbs up!! barbara

Nothing short of phenomenal. The Strand Theatre is beautiful, engaging, and staffed with great, passionate individuals! One of the best small arts theatres around, and a great contributor to Marietta's vibrancy.
