I am deeply saddened with Fresno Bully Rescue (FBR). They use to be one of the the best rescue groups around and then went thru a change in their board. They use to be a sanctuary for pitties but now FBR tries to pass themselves off as a no kill center and sanctuary. That is now the Furthest thing from the truth!!! They state they are there to provide a healthy and loving temporary home while they look for forever homes for the bullies. They leave the kennels dirty and filled with poop. During the rains the kennels were flooding. There was a group that raised money for them and were going to take their weekend to come and help grade the land etc but FBR killed a rescue dog that the group raised money to save. She was killed by one of their board members before she even got to the

Though I am in New York, I support with donations the incredible work that Fresno Bully Rescue does in taking into rescue, abandoned and abused bully breed dogs. They are committed to correctly assessing the dogs' behavior, handling medical needs and providing the right course to move ahead so the dogs can be happily rehomed and not wind up on the street or in harms way or in a high-kill shelter.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
Seeing the care and commitment for these animals.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Build a state-of-the-art shelter to take in many more needy animals and increase the wonderful work in caring for these dogs. They could promote themselves nationally and have Fresno Bully Rescue affiliate around the country to help the bully breeds.

Wow that statement couldn't be farther from the truth! Anyone can come to the shelter any day of the week and see the state of the place and see that it is completely clean, the dogs are clean, healthy & happy. They have more volunteers now more than ever, and have almost paid off all of the debt & unpaid bills the former management had accrued. All of the dogs that were underweight are now putting on weight, and get the regular exercise they all need. I know the money that was donated by that group was used to go towards the renovation of the center, which is exactly what it was donated for. The land WAS graded and all new decomposed granite was laid down. Clearly the person who wrote this comment hasn't even been to the center since the new management took over.
