I Believe Music has the Power to HealMy name is Gabbie Rae; I am a 17 year old singer and I am passionate about standing up to bullying and lending my voice to create real change in the world. As someone who experienced bullying first hand, I don’t want anyone to have to endure the pain and suffering that can come from being bullied and I want to let kids everywhere know they are not alone. I know how powerful and healing music can be and it’s important to me to give back by sharing my experience with other kids through my music and letting them know that their experience with bullying does not need to define them. Three years ago, I teamed up with an anti-bullying nonprofit, Free2Luv (free2luv.org), who utilizes music and the arts to empower kids, celebrate their individuality and spread kindness. I’m honored to be a Celebrity Ambassador for this awesome organization. Together, we have reached millions of families through our FRIENDS DON’T LET FRIENDS BULLY campaign. I’ve performed on their anti-bullying anthem and in their ‘Rock Your Own Lyrics’ empowerment concert series designed to encourage kids to follow their dreams and not be afraid to be themselves. My fans that reach out and share their stories move me and I feel so proud to be able to be there for them and be a voice for change. I believe that one person truly can make a difference and I’m honored to stand with an organization that makes it their daily mission to empower youth and celebrate everyone’s uniqueness. I’m dedicated to Free2Luv and their mission and I plan to continue to support their efforts to create a kinder world. It would ROCK if you did, too! Sincerely,Gabbie Rae
I just want to say once again that what you are doing to promote awareness, kindness and acceptance with your anti bully campaign and Instagram account, brings me to tears. It is so heartwarming when groups rally around children such as my son and his siblings. Keep up the great work.
Free2Luv is an incredible Nonprofit. Bullying is such a problem in our schools and in the world. Free2luv takes a stand against this epidemic and really encourages kids and teens to stay true to who they are and encourages them to be themselves. We need more people who are passionate about this! They are such a light to so many!
Thank you for your support! We know that together we can create true change. It's up to each of us to remind our youth that they are perfect just the way they are.
Free2luv is an excellent charity that really cares for everyone! I was going through a really bad time, don't want to specify as it's behind me now, but if it weren't for them, I'd still be there. I strongly recommend them to anyone out there that needs help and feels as alone and helpless as I did. Their assistance was a life-saver. Literally.
Free2Luv is an amazing organization that I am happy I stumbled on. It started when I won one of the contests they were hosting and received a package that contained a t-shirt, wristband and tattoos. Since that first encounter I have been following the success and inspiration Free2Luv continues to be to me and the community. As a 2012 Fresno, CA Rainbow Gay Pride Grand Marshal, I was happy to wear my Free2Luv organization in representation of my organization My Lgbt Plus. Not only does Free2Luv inform the community with inspirational products and posts on social media site Facebook, but they are generous to donating to other nonprofit organizations. As a board member and the Director of Outreach for the Fresno Reel Pride Gay & Lesbian Film Festival, Tonya of Free2Luv was more than happy to donate items to our silent auction for members of the Central California community to see their work and take home items from their organization. Would I recommend Free2Luv to friends and family? YES! And I already have and continue to!
Thank you so much for your kind words and support, Justin! We are proud to stand with you and the organizations you represent to support equality and bullying prevention. We, too, are happy to have connected with you and look forward to standing up for all love together.
