FosterClub is AMAZING! I work closely with young people and staff from FosterClub at least weekly, and I also proudly donate to FosterClub. Supporting this organization is an easy thing to do--their mission is incredibly important, their work is ALWAYS top-notch, and they are excellent stewards of their limited resources. I encourage everyone to support FosterClub. Young people in foster care need us to care for them, and to ensure we have excellent public policy and practice related to foster care. By supporting FosterClub, you are raising up the 800,000 children who live in foster care every year.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Change the way foster care works for ALL children now and into the future. We could make sure no more children have to grow up alone, afraid, and without role models. We could make sure social workers and policy makers know how best to support youth.

FosterClub is an excellent organization with a driven mission to make a difference. This mission is fulfilled in the best way possible, through giving kids a voice, and empowering others. The organization is organized in their work, thoughtful in their approach, and effective in their outreach. I am very proud to say I have worked with this organization on numerous occasions and I hope to do so again in the future.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

develop an effective campaign that would drive foster care reform even further through research and greater outreach to youth and other national organization. The organization could expand and help more youth.

FosterClub is a great organization aimed at providing support to youth and young adults who have been involved in the foster care system. Celeste Bodnar is passionate about helping these youth get connected to positive life experiences. I've worked with her to educate legislative representatives on the challenges that youth in foster care face. The youth who Celeste helped to prepare were incredible spokespeople and did a wonderful job at advocating for their brothers and sisters in care. Organizations like this are incredibly valuable to our society.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

educating state legislators about issues surrounding foster care and child welfare that ultimately resulted in new legislation that extended benefits to age 21 for youth in foster care.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

how responsive they are and how passionate and knowledgeable they are about the issues they advocate on.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

all extremely knowledgeable about the issues and passionate about what they were doing. Most, if not all, had direct experience in the child welfare system, so they spoke from the heart.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

change the child welfare system in this country and could really save our state governments a lot of money!
