I've known Lana and her good work long before Forgotten Angels was born, and all the way she has put needy animals (not just pigs) at the front of her priorities. This is a great organization...one that knows how to accomplish what needs to be done. Thank you, FAREC, for being who and what you are. You are greatly appreciated.

FAREC continues to be a lifeline for animals in need. I've had interaction with them for many years now, and in that time they've never failed to be of immense assistance. Kudos to FAREC.

This organization never pressures people into donating. Whatever one can give is very much appreciated. They give updates on current rescues and keep people informed.

Forgotten Angels Rescue & Education Center, Inc. is very quick about getting urgent rescue notices out to those interested in helping animals. They are great at disbursing donations to the people/organizations who assist in helping animals in need. This center doesn't just disburse donations and leaves; it sees that the animals are truly helped by observing and reporting an animal rescue from beginning to end.

I took in a foster pig thinking I was going to have it for a very long time. This charity helped move the pig here and found a home for her in only a couple of weeks. It was a pleasure working with them and I would do it again in a heart beat.

Over the last several years I have helped transport many rescued pigs who have been helped by Forgotten Angels Rescue & Education Center Inc. Countless animals have been rescued, saved and placed through this organization, dating back years. Forgotten Angels serves a huge need in the rescue community for all types of animals by networking/facilitating their placement, transportation, spays/neuters, other medical needs, housing, feed and fencing. Forgotten Angels also works hard to educate people who are considering getting an animal and continually helps with education for those who need guidance, thereby preventing more displaced animals and assuring they are able to stay in their current homes. This is a terrific organization that contributes a great deal to the rescue community and the animals we all care about.

FAREC has been a wonderful and very helpful organization that has save, not only many pigs lives, but dogs, cats, horses and many other animals. They have exceeded the many requests for saving lives and I have worked with them as a volunteer since 1999.

I volunteer transportation and home checking for FAREC and Lana many times every year. FAREC has never failed to help any animal with finding a new home, whether it's a sanctuary or an individual home. FAREC also heads up coordinating large rescues or the one single rescue. Farec educates the public, organizes funding for transporting, fencing, shelter, vetting, encluding spay/neutering, or anything an animal may need. I would not give my time and money to any other rescue since Lana and Farec are doing a wonderful and productive job. I see this happening daily.

As a transport volunteer and a recipient of FAREC's help with my own rescue in FL, I am constantly amazed at how many animals from all over the United States are helped daily by Lana and her dedication to FAREC and the animals. I have two pot bellied pigs at home from FAREC's rehoming efforts. I have also personally transported FAREC animals to their new homes when these abandoned, lost, hurt, and homeless animals had no where else to go. It's the best feeling in the world to see these animals get a second chance. Once an animal or owner calls needing help, Lana doesn't give up until a solution is found, whether for money to help with a surgery, housing, fencing, or to transport to a new home many miles away. Zoning issues, vetting, health or behavioral issues, and education is just part of what FAREC can provide to a sanctuary, or an individual owner. Sometimes help in the form of money is difficult to come by but FAREC will always help in some way, given enough time. I only wish FAREC could do more but the economy as it is today makes it more difficult, but certainly not impossible. One just has check out their record of accomplishments each year they have been an organization to see.

I have known Lana for years ..... I met her through animal rescue .... in fact I have done alot of rescue's for her and with her ...... it's not only about the rescue but also the spay & neuter and other vet bills incurred by the animals in need ....... this is a start to finish - rescue, vetting, placing and helping those who can't afford or to help themselves without the help of others ...... Keep up the Great Work!!!

I have worked with many rescue groups and have supported FAREC because they have the desire and persistence to help animals find new homes. It is the small sanctuaries and rescues that save more animals from being forgotten and just shoved aside. I believe that anyone donating to these small organizations will be getting 100% of their donation put towards the lifesaving expenses of animal care.

I volunteer my services to FAREC several times a year by offering state-to-state transportation for animals that would otherwise have to forfiet the chance to go to a forever home. I have never worked with a more organized group of people that seem to consistently just "get the job done!" Even with constantly changing travel destinations and schedules these folks are destined to get the animal where it needs to go. There are an amazing number of people along each route who are involved with FAREC in some capacity who offer food, lodging, rest time, or just want to give me a pat on the back for doing what I do and are always there in case of an emergency. I just can't say enough about this organization!!!
