Of all the organizations out there for ovarian cancer patients, this one - For the Women We Love provides the most comprehensive support to women facing ovarian cancer that I have ever found. These folks not only assist the patient as she goes through her cancer treatment, they also provide valuable knowledge to the caregiver. This organization has the opportunity to reach far beyond the Atlanta metropolitan area. The only way this growth can be made possible is through strong financial resources, increased volunteer support from community members and in-kind donations to help them continue their many wonderful programs of support. The new name will serve this organization well. I see opportunity for grand marketing partnerships with corporate donors promoting ANY marketing activity in the name of For the Women We Love. Whether the corporation is selling apparel or kitchen appliances, having the tag line of For the Women We Love offers huge awareness benefitting both parties. This organization has been a sleeping giant who is now ready to make herself known to the world. I say let's support For the Women We Love whenever and however we can!

I think what you have done with the SEGO Buddy program is nothing short of amazing! In my opinion, you deserve others to know what an amazing job you are doing.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

I have to tell you how much I enjoyed the Summer Dream Luncheon. I thought the presentation was very interesting and worthwhile. It was such a good reminder of what I've long believed: how you "feel" about battling cancer has a lot to do with surviving it

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Create more in depth "presentation series" - expand the presetations to include "hands-on" training of complementary therapies for gynecologic cancer patients and surviviors.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the wonderful time together with my fellow survivors (always precious!).

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

kind and made us all feel so important and special.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

expand the frequency of their special programs for gynecologic cancer patients and expand their programs across the country.

Ways to make it better...

more survivors who have completed treatment would get involved.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

swiftly raising awareness of the organization.

One thing I'd also say is that...

Every donation to this organization, no matter the size, will allow women to expereince their cancer treatment and survivorship journey with the support of so many other amazing gyn cancer survivors.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every six months
