For Paws Hospice is a phenomenal organization assisting families with their pets' needs. This organization has stepped forward to help owners who are ill and cannot appropriately care for their companion animal by offering food, providing referrals to veterinarians, pet sitters, groomers, trainers, massage therapists and other pet service providers that have agreed to discount their costs. Pets who can no longer walk on their own receive assistance through FPH's wheelchair database as well. This non profit provides a much needed service to families throughout the United States.

find more funds so For Paws Hospice can help many other families.

For Paw Hospice contacted my non profit in Minnesota to inquire about pacemakers that could be used for dogs. They had a need and I had information. I am proud to call Harlan a friend and provide emotional-long-distance support via the Facebook page!

For Paws Hospice , an honorable and dedicated organization. Harlan and Nancy are bringing a wonderful relief to those in need of help for their beloved pets or their own respet during personal illness. As a volunteer I took in temporarely two precious older dogs for a lady going in for cancer surgery. She said, " God doesn't do....He sends." Indeed He did , He sent For Paws , Thankyou....

I can't say enough about For Paws Hospice. This organization was the only one that would help me with a rescue named "Beau". For Paws Hospice puts the needs of animals first.

I am a veterinary technician student and I specialize in canine gerontology and hospice care. I am on the local advisory council of our hospice paws program which promotes pet therapy to the human hospice patients. I also volunteer with Grey Muzzle Organization and have had the pleasure of meeting several members of FOR PAWS HOSPICE at events. I don't think I have been as impressed by any other group of people in their dedication and drive. No doubt the world needs more people to care about animals ...all through their lives. They are not items to be tossed away when we are done with them. These people are so very compassionate and knowledgable but sadly underfunded as an organization. I mostly appreciate the education they provide the public not to mention a way for people to come to terms with dying and death for themselves and their companions.

There has been a real need in this community for a reach out to elderly or sick individuals with financial constraints or lack of knowledge of where to turn for assistance with their pets. As with most communities there has also been a need to help pets that can't help themselves. For Paws Hospice has found so many in-roads to help the community, from educational, to helping with transport, food and pet supplies, and financial help, to helping cancer patients, find carts for paralyzed dogs, and linking with other professionals for medical or surgical assistance who are also looking to help the pet population.

Helping paralyzed pets find carts, performing stem cell therapy for pets unable to walk, and helping with elderly people who could not afford vet care without this organization

Provide an ability to kennel or house pets who may need to be fostered or readopted for people who cannot manage them any longer.

For PAWS is an incredible organization. Their dedication to their mission, vision and values in helping pets and families in need is commendable. They are an open-minded organization with talented, energetic founders.
One of the most impressive qualities about For PAWS is their ability to use their creative energy and problem solving to find ways to get things done... their optimism is a blessing.

For Paws Hospice is an amazing non-profit organization, run by truly dedicated and amazing people! They provide much needed services not only locally but wherever needed across the US. When you see Harlan & Nancy's passion for what they do it is inspiring. Working with them this past year on a volunteer basis has been wonderful. So glad we've met them. We were able to hear first hand stories of how they've been able to not only help owners keep the pets they love, but also assist those that are grieving the loss of their beloved family friend. Remarkable orginization and all around wonderful, genuine people.

For Paws helped me stay positive and work towards my goal of getting my dog Pearl's leg surgery. Without them it would have been a very lonely and daunting task. Now she's on the mend and the donations are helping to pay off the vet bill. Thanks for helping to keep us together!
