Have been a Foodshare volunteer for 8 years, and as a professional social worker I constantly refer needy clients to them, also. The staff is amazingly dedicated - to them, it's much more than a job, it's a mission. The 2,500 volunteers are incredibly involved and many serve more than one function. I am continually impressed that 95% of their budget goes directly to helping people.

I have nejoyed being a volunteer and donor fro Fodshare, for several years. I also work as a Resident Services Coordinator in elderly/disabled housing. These persons depend on the Foodshare Mobile Unit, to meet their nutritional needs on a regular basis. I am grateful for the work we all do!
