The Pantry feeds two day emergency food to poor and homeless persons in the Inglewood area of California. In April 2010, they distributed food to 809 clients representing 1939 people at a cost of $2800, just over a dollar a person. Workers are all volunteers from churches in the Westchester area of Los Angeles. The group has been in operation since 1986.

Westchester.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

knowing I helped those who needed help.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

great.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

expand.
