I love the Food Empowerment Project because it calls attention to all the issues involved with food justice. They care about the people who grow our food, the animals whose lives are taken for our food; the environment that suffers for our food production. And even better, they share with the public practical ways to ensure that children, adults, animals and the earth are not exploited for our food. What a win/win solution to a complex set of challenges. This is the only group I know of that connects the dots to see and find solutions for the big picture in ethical food choices.

The Food Empowerment project connects the dots and shows the relationships between and among humans, animals, and the earth. They show that our behaviors toward any of these affects each of the others. They call on businesses and individuals to do right by their employees, their communities, their planet. FEP holds citizens of the earth accountable for the damage we do to one another and to our planet. The encourage respect and dignity and kindness in everything we do. I do not know of any other group that sees the whole picture this clearly and does such good work across the board on behalf of people, animals or our dear home planet.

I work with people trying to change to a healthier diet. Food Empowerment Project helps me show these people the other, huge benefits to the world when they become more conscious of their food choices.

The Food Empowerment Project is the only group I know that works on behalf of workers,
the land, and animals. WIth respect for the source of our food, the people who grow and harvest our food, and the animals routinely killed for food, this group educates, inspires, and helps foster a more compassionate world.

The Food Empowerment Project has a broad view of all the related issues and connects the dots so we can all see our part in the world's food systems. Their work is unique and invaluable.

When I share the perspective of Food Empowerment Project with my students, they can see their role and their power in the way food is procured. Many people have changed their eating habits (including me) thanks to this organization's work

I wish I could find them tremendous funding! We need to support groups like this. Billions of lives depend on them.

Food Empowerment Project is without question, an all-around ethical organization and the ONLY group I know of that links together and addresses human, animal and environmental concerns. As a result, it's impact is far more outreaching; from child slavery and the rights of farm workers, to human health and the horrors of factory farming, they truly leave no stone unturned.

Food Empowerment Project is an amazing organization. Their work is so crucial for our age because they question some of the most entrenched beliefs, but manage to do so in a way that is respectful and helps people to change. Not only are they an extremely effective organization, but they manage to pull off an amazing amount of work with very little funding. Hoping they come upon a great windfall soon.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Helping us to take a deeper look at our campaign goals, and question underlying assumptions.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Increase grant making capacity so that they could begin hiring full time staff. The work this organization does is too important to go unfunded.

Food Empowerment Project is an excellent organization for a number of reasons. One of the most important aspects of their work is bridging issues of food access, veganism and environmental justice -- these issues all serve the same goal of making the world better for people and animals but are often bifurcated.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

my work as a food justice advocate.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

make sure they had more money so they could move from a volunteer based organization to hiring paid staff.

Food Empowerment Project is a group that I continue to support because I think their work is hooked into the future, doing their best to educate and help people and animals. Hopefully more people will make the connections that they are teaching.

Food Empowerment Project is connecting the dots between the rights of humans and animals, and that's something kind of rare right now, but I think completely necessary to take humanity to the next level.

They do so much important research and education that not a lot of groups are doing
right now, and I think they are leaders in this way.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Using their website and literature as resources to educate myself and others.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Find a way to promote their organization in a bigger way, maybe using celebrities, like Farm Sanctuary and others do. I think this is a cause that can easily get the back up of big names to help spread the word and get financial backing.

Food is power! Indeed it is. Food Empowerment Project's mission is to create a just and sustainable world through informed food choices. I support FEP because they believe in a broad definition of "just" - a commitment to reducing suffering in all living beings and the environment. A bold an inspiring vision more than capably implemented by the dedicated FEP team.

I'm grateful to support an organization like Food Empowerment Project. An organization with so much to give and so much to do deserves your support too.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

I'm learning, through FEP research, about the interconnectedness of our food supply and am making more informed choices based on that research. The chocolate list is one example where FEP research into the sources and business practices of companies that sell chocolate have impacted my food selection. And in general, just being inspired to be bold and compassionate. All living beings deserve to be free from suffering.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Provide them with an unlimited supply of people to assist in their ongoing projects.
