The Food Empowerment Project's executive director, Lauren Ornelas, presented a wide array of issues related to food justice at my high school. I have also volunteered for the group. In all cases, Lauren speaks with clarity and a strong vision for the FEP- she wants justice for both humans and animals involved in food production and shares specific examples of what we can all do to help.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

My classmates were both fascinated and motivated by Lauren's presentation. The Food Empowerment Project's management is right on, but the scope of their efforts is limited by their lack of funding.
