I wasn't a "cat person" before, until I noticed there was a feral cat living outside my house. I began feeding her and soon I noticed she was pregnant and she also had a very bad eye infection. When she had the babies I took all of them to the vet and he recommended keeping them inside the house so I could give mom her medication. He also said he could fix all four cats (mom and the kittens) but of course he would charge a lot of money. I couldn't afford that since I already had two rescued dogs at home. I began searching the internet and found FixNation. I got in touch with Liz Cava (a wonderful person) and she helped me. Mom was fixed first and when the kittens were old enough they were fixed as well. I felt such a relief. I fell in love with the kittens, so I kept them, but since I continued feeding mom outside, more cats started coming to eat. With the help of FixNation, I've been able to trap 15 more cats. They loaned me the traps; were kind enough to keep rescheduling appointments whenever I could not trap any cats and Liz would reply to all of my e-mails. The office staff is very kind and understanding. I really don't know what I would have done without FixNation. Plus, I discovered that cats are wonderful creatures that deserve caring. I'm really grateful for everything that they do.

Everything went well for my first (4) feral cats. This morning, I released them; one did not want to go out, one just walked out, one ran out and one dashed out of the traps! They all look very, very good ! I am so impressed with FixNations Services, excellent, clean work!!! The ear tipping was just enough not over done. Two of the feral cats came back right away to eat and were launching around as usual. I totally understand and agree with bringing them back to their own colony. I am sure they are glad to be back and free once again! You have a great team of workers and your Vets are very professional at thier work, careful and thoughtful. Keep up the good job!!! Thanks everyone!!!

Fix Nation is an unbelieveable Clinic. Without their services all of us who trap and care for feral and Homeless Community cats would be overwhelmed. I hope they are able to open another facility closer to Downtown in the near future.

I had a growing problem with feral cats multiplying in my backyard. My daughter found FixNation on the Internet and they saved me from a guaranteed explosion in feline population. FixNation helped me more than I can explain and it was an absolute pleasure to deal with everyone there, to the point where I missed them after fixing the last cat in the colony. I cannot imagine how bad the feral cat situation would be without them.

"I got into into trapping 10 years ago by helping caretakers of various sites to get their strays fixed. These caretakers usually were old ladies without traps, transportation or money to get the cats trapped and pay for the surgery. When Fixnation was set up in 2007 I was able to expand my efforts by having more traps available and not having to pay for the sterilization. I also started to maintain a small trap depot for them in Pasadena thus shortening the trip for trappers in my area. Local volunteers now come to my house for the traps and training but still take the trapped cats to Fixnation in Burbank. Many caretakers and trappers share stories with me about their colonies and all express the same relief that there are no more kittens born in their colonies and the fixed cats thrive and are more healthy. Vicious fights between males stop and the females are no longer pursued by males. FixNation has become essential to our community for the good work they are doing in limiting the expansion of feral cats. I find the staff committed and often going beyond the call of duty to help. I feel good being a volunteer for them. Alice B."

Words can't express the dedication and hard work of this organization. Feral Cats are the forgotten felines and the castoffs of uncaring humans. Fix Nation advocates Trap-Neuter and Return. It also educates people on how to take care of these beautiful creatures and how to control the cat population. They have wonderful volunteers and clients that have dedicated their time to helping with the feral population. With this organization, there has been a decrease in euthanization rates at the shelters .

There is no other non-profit like Fixnation. They are one of a kind, yet they operate conscientiously and with high standards. They have little to no competition, yet they deliver every time. I hope Fixnation is here to stay as they offer a much needed service. I also hope that other non-profits use them as an example of a well run, successful and well respected non-profit.

FixNation was a godsend. After cats being hit by cars, and kittens getting sick from lack of nutrition, I reached out for help. I didn't want the kitties to be put to death but they needed to be fixed so the cycle would stop. I felt overwhelmed but all the people at fixnation reassured me I could take control. My neighbor teamed up with me and in a short year we brought in 100 kitties. I am so happy to say we have Not had 1 new litter of kittens in 2 years. And we actually adopted 1 of the last kittens taken in. All the staff went above and beyond to save the life of this kitty.

Fixnation was so helpful to me when I found feral cats at my work, I was able to trap, spay & return them to the property w/ in just a few weeks. I admired all the hard work everyone does at Fixnation that I wanted to be a part of the Fixnation team, so I now volunteer every week to help others who love cats as much as I do.

they are meticulous in their care of the cats and despite the large volume of cats which are fixed there on a daily basis, they are very careful not to make any mistakes. I and other rescuers who use them on a regular basis feel very lucky to have FIX NATION available to us. I do not know what we would do without them!
