Mission: The mission of Family Service of Morris County is to help children, families and seniors through the most challenging times in their lives. Since Family Service began in 1813, the agency''s roots have been deep in the community--growing from a compassionate commitment to helping neighbors in need. For nearly 200 years, Family Service has continued this caring tradition by offering counseling, support, education and help to children and teenagers, families in crisis, as well as seniors and their caregiving families.

The FSMC Time Out Adult Day Centers provide affordable social day care for seniors and the disabled in a safe, stimulating, supervised environment. Nutritious meals are offered and transportation options are available. Family Service operates three Time Out Centers conveniently located in Madison, Morris Plains and Succasunna.

As an employee of Family Service, I have also volunteered for a number of events, from participating in our annual Bowl-A-Thon, which raises approximately $30,000 to our annual Spring Ball, which raised over $140,000. There are approximately 20 programs at Family Service which helps individuals, children, families, seniors, and the military throughout the community. This service is vital and strengthens the community and empowers the clients we serve to overcome life's challenges. I am proud to be a part of Family Service of Morris County.
