Review from Guidestar

Faith Theological Seminary has graduated such theological giants as Francis August Schaeffer, who is oft credited with sparking the rise of the Christian Right in America, Vernon Grounds, President of Denver Seminary, and Kenneth Kantzer, who brought Trinity Evangelical Divinity School to prominence. The school was started by Carl McIntire, the founder of the International Council of Christian Churches, in 1937. The position of FTS is to be an institution honoring the Lord in its doctrine and teachings. FTS believes the people of God must be taught and trained in the Holy Scriptures. The schools motto "For the Faith, By Faith" epitomizes the belief that the Bible is the only rule of faith and practice. It also recognizes the Holy Bible as innerrant. FTS moved from Philadelphia to Baltimore in 2004.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

The staff at Faith Theological Seminary, are thoughtful and gracious to their approach to teaching Christian doctrine. To date I can truly say I have been taught and not told. I feel the Word is being shared to me in a Christ-like manner. FTS is very relational yet bound to the Truth. The evening and weekend courses are perfect for individuals like me who need a day job in order to afford their Bachelors, Masters or Doctoral degrees.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

offer a few daytime courses and add coursework on military chaplaincy.
