Eva's Village is among the most comprehensive anti-poverty non profits in the state of New Jersey, creating positive change for people in great need. Eva's Village provides an access center to engage those in need and create a plan of assistance, then refers to their own or outside programs that will be most effective for the client. Eva's Village provides counseling, food, shelter, permanent affordable housing, inpatient and outpatient recovery services, free primary medical care, mental health services, dental care, Hope Residence (a unique shelter and recovery program for mothers and children), The Culinary School at Eva's Village, an organic gardening joint venture with local business and even more affiliated services. Eva's Village is also top rated for fiscal responsibility by Charity Navigator, and keeps administration costs exceptionally low compared to most nonprofits. I have been pleased to participate in this organization for seven + years. When you participate, and hear stories of success from people who were formerly living in extreme addiction, poverty and distress, it's hard not to become even more involved. I began by providing complimentary consultation on marketing, became a board member, chair of marketing and development, and currently serve as President of the Board of Directors. I encourage anyone with an interest to visit www.evasvillage.org, find out more, submit inquiries and donate. Your participation will improve American inner city lives and communities.
