I am so proud to be a contributor to the success of Energy Outreach Colorado. I have come to realize that for many of my Colorado neighbors, the need for help with their utility bills is truly life threatening. I don’t know where my modest contributions can have a more dramatic impact. Because EOC squeezes a lot of bang from each dollar, I know that my gifts have made a difference. Because EOC steps in with critical help with heat and light, this wonderful non-profit’s work with low income folks in turn makes it possible for many recipients to put adequate food on the table and fill long ignored prescriptions. Its impact is continuing and far-reaching. And it is significant that EOC also helps folks improve the energy efficiency of their homes, hopefully making it possible for many to afford their utility bills. I appreciate the double whammy of EOC, if you will: Help when one can’t pay for heat and light and help to make energy use more efficient and affordable. I further appreciate the effective ways EOC keeps its supporters informed and aware of its activities and its needs.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

EOC's excellent newsletter and the praise of other non-profit professionals.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Help it find ways to reach higher levels of financial help.

Many years ago, in lieu of Christmas gifts for the adults in my extended family, I decided to make a "Family Contribution" to help those less fortunate than we. It didn't take long to choose Energy Outreach Colorado. I was most impressed that they are able to keep their administrative costs below 7%. The staff are all very professional and great people to get to know. Last year, I was interviewed about the annual letter I send to each member of my family regarding the need for our assistance and how it will make someone's home warm and bright for the Holidays. I include this letter in an EOC Holiday card. This is without a doubt, the finest organization to whom I've ever given and I shall continue as long as I'm able.

Being interviewed and pictured in an EOC Newsletter about my Family Contributions.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

They're doing a great job just as they are!
